Holiday 3D Prints to Wrap Up Your Year
These fun prints are perfect for new 3D printer owners.Maker Projects

Whether you need a last-minute gift or are trying out a new 3D printer found under the tree, we've got a collection of fun and fast 3D prints to put you in a festive mood.
I printed these on a Bambu A1 3D printer, using the AMS add-on for multicolor printing, with mostly Inland PLA filament. But most of these projects, all found on the MakerWorld and Printables websites, should work with any decent 3D printer and you can keep track of which 3D printer models Micro Center shoppers have rated as the best here.

Cozy Christmas Fireplace Smartphone Stand
This is my favorite print of the holiday season, and echoes a similar phone stand I made from wood on a laser cutter a couple of years ago. Just call up a fireplace video on YouTube, then drop your phone in the slot for an instant fireplace. Note the stock design fits a standard iPhone, not a larger Max size -- but it's easy to resize in your slicer to get the perfect fit for your phone. Christmas Coaster
Printing drink coasters on a 3D printer is like playing the intro to Stairway to Heaven on a guitar -- it's one of the first things everyone does as a test drive. These fun snowflake examples are a great way to do a simple multicolor print in whatever festive shades of filament you have. Collapsible Fidget Santa's Hat
This Santa hat fidget toy is incredibly fun -- it has a very satisfying rattle as you open and close the hat. And even better, this is a print-in-place model, so there's nothing to assemble, it comes right off the printer ready to fidget. Bambu Lab A1 Mini Christmas Ornament
Yes, I printed this Bambu A1 3D printer ornament on a Bambu A1 printer. It's an adorable homage to my current 3D printer fave, and the print plate and arm actually move. I stuck a short bit of filament in as a tiny bowden tube. Get the .stl file here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/867522#profileId-818849

Candy Cane X-Wing Kit Card
You might remember our collection of fun 3D printed card kits, and the clip-and-assemble idea of card kits remains one of my favorite ways to gift 3D prints to people. This colorful spaceship adds a candy cane theme, so it's perfect if you have white and red filament loaded up.
