Learn to DIY Your New PC with Micro Center's Build and Learn Service
Pick the parts, then sit down with an expert Micro Center tech to put it all together.News

Building a custom PC can be one of the most rewarding experiences in tech, from researching and picking the parts, to watching it boot up for the first time, to gaming or working on your new system.
If you're not used to PC building, the process can be intimidating. While we're always here to assemble your chosen parts into the computer of your dreams, what if there was a way to build your own PC, but also have a Micro Center expert guiding you every step of the way?
That’s the exact experience Micro Center now offers with our new Build and Learn service. It's the best parts of DIY and expert assembly, together, in a personalized, one-on-one session where you partner with a trained expert to build your PC together.
What is the Build and Learn Service?
The Build and Learn service is a hands-on, in-store experience designed to demystify the PC building process. For $349.99 (plus the cost of your parts), you'll spend approximately two hours with a Micro Center technician walking you through every single step of our Express ProBuild service, all the way from unboxing to the final stress test.
This service is ideal for first-time builders who want to learn the right way, or even for enthusiasts who want to deepen their skills with professional guidance. You can participate as much or as little as you want, making it the perfect educational workshop.
What to Expect: A Guided Building Journey
When you book a Build and Learn session, you’re scheduling a comprehensive hands-on lesson.

Go over each part you've selected and confirm compatibility.

Learn how to safely install your CPU, RAM, storage, and more on the bench.
Case Preparation & Build
Help prepare the case and install the power supply and cooling, and learn basic cable management techniques while you install the components.
Operating System Setup

Quality Checks & Testing
Your technician will run a stress test to ensure your system is stable.
Wrap-Up & Pickup
You’ll receive a review of the build, tips for maintenance, and your system will be boxed and ready to take home. You'll also receive one year of ESET NOD32 Antivirus and all the original component boxes needed to keep your parts organized.
Every system build includes a one year warranty for replacement parts (if your device is not covered under a manufacturer's warranty) and a 90-day labor warranty covering any issues within the first 90 days of use.
