This all started from my corsair 500d case not fitting two 360mm rads, an AIO for the CPU and the rad for my RTX 3090 K|NGP|N hybrid card. I determined I needed a bigger case to fit them both thus came the 1000d. Plenty big enough right? Sure. Actually it was too big because hoses on the AIOs were too SHORT! Then I decided to research and understand what this 1000d case really was. Of course this thing is targeting custom water cooling. A year later we have the bohemoth.$13,029.51 -

I stream Halo infinite, CoD, Apex, OW, FF15/11/7, runescape. All I need now is to get a proper keyboard, and upgrade my monitor to the newer 2160p Neo G9. This is the completed build. Paul & Austin in Deluth help me determine what I needed for what I wanted. Because it was my first custom loop I chose to do soft tubing...It would look better aesthetically had I done hard tubing. I also now regret getting the 4090. It's a monster of itself but it doesn't support DP 2.1 which limits video bandwidth. This build is primarily built for gaming, such as playing CyberPunk 2077, GTA V, Forza Motorsport Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, Death Loop, and others. I don't play online much as I have always preferred playing offline at my own pace. I'm a diehard campaign guy. When I'm not gaming on this its lots of surfing the internet and streaming videos on YouTube. I am not a streamer on Twitch or anything though I am contemplating doing so in the future. Would buy the Elgato face camera. With a rig like this why not take advantage of it? Case is built in the Corsair 5000D airflow in white along with black computer parts. Always loved Corsairs computer cases and this one caught my eye right away once I started seeing advertisements for it on YouTube. I have always been a fan of the black parts on white case contrast vs the "whiteout" or "blackout" builds everyone else seems to be doing. The fans I chose to use are the new Lian Li UNI AL120mm fans, which are AWESOME. Every other manufacture needs to create daisy chain-able fans like this. Game changer for cable management. I did decide to take advantage of the extra side fans the 5000d airflow allows you to use, bringing my total number of fans to 10. This is more of an experiment by me as I'm honestly not sure how much they will truly help my thermals. Will probably keep them just for the look more than anything. Makes the case seem much more full. I am never settled with my rig and am always tweaking it (currently talking myself out of Intel 12th gen as my CPU still is awesome). The next change I see myself doing is getting some custom power supply cables from Cable Mod to really give this build a professional look. Haven't pulled the trigger yet though.$5,580.93 -

Walking through Micro Center one day to get a new fan for my good old Raidmax Smilodon case and made the mistake of walking past the cases, saw a core P3 black on the shelf and had to build one for myself, and so it began, which color which was a back and forth decision for some time. Had to bail on building it few times due to other circumstances and just kept researching and getting parts over I would say 2 to 3 years, some accessories are past over from last build though. Built it for gaming and just general use, do a little go-pro video editing from time to time. Really do not have any upgrade plans for the tower at this time but we all know how fast that can change. Definitely would like to in time upgrade old been through it all desk that started as a U desk and due to space keeps getting smaller and also some better cable management for the desk. Custom loop would also be a possible upgrade but do not like the idea of constantly changing the coolant and I like simple (LOL) so to be determined, that being said next will more then likely be VR. Types of games really I am all over the place, it is really whichever I got hooked on for the moment. Forth build I have technically done but always had a sidekick that honestly knows much more and this one is the first I was solo on other then texting questions and thoughts to said sidekick <(leader of what to get and do)(LOL), also is where the Klipsch 5.1 came from (great friend).$5,228.69 -

Haven't had a capable gaming pc in over 10 years and haven't actually built systems in over 20 years (my bro and I used to as teenagers). When my wife gave birth to our second son and we got a nice tax refund, my wife gave me the all-clear to get myself a new system. Bought a prebuilt at first but due to problems with the system and poor customer service, I returned it and got to researching my own build. The system started off on a Gigabyte board and NZXT case, but after more problems with certain parts, I ended up with an almost completely Corsair build. Out of all of the customer service issues I had to deal with, they are simply the best: no hassle, no run around, just fast RMA. As for the system, I use it to play mostly single player RPGs or FPS games. I love the Metro series, Divinity games, The Witcher games, Resident Evil, BattleTech and MechWarrior, Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Deus Ex, and so many others. Recently I played most of the latest games with real time ray traced effects and I'm eagerly anticipating where the technology is heading. Really looking forward to a couple of other games that will feature the technology in Cyberpunk 2077 and Vampire Bloodlines 2. Also really looking forward to Baldur's Gate 3. Currently enjoying Season 2 of The Division 2 with my brother, and really hoping that the next Control DLC will feature Alan Wake as many expect it to be! In the future, I hope to install a hard line custom loop, likely in the Hydro X series since I already have a Commander Pro and have already installed a soft tube Hydro X loop for a friend. Sadly, I can't find a water block for my card (they appear to be EOL both at EVGA and EKWB - Corsair doesn't make one for my model), so if I want to go custom loop, I'll probably have to get a new card. Otherwise, I don't really plan any other upgrades until I replace the system maybe in five years, especially since Z390 is also the end for upgrades.$4,927.85 -

This PC will deliver some of the best gaming performance imaginable! The Ryzen 7 5800x3D's tremendous amount of cache (100 MB!) will rival, if not beat, the 12900KS in gaming within games that utilize the cache. On top of this, the RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra is one of the fastest GPUs in the market! Some games played on this machine include COD Warzone, Apex Legends, Red Dead Redemption, and Forza Horizon 5. I play all games on this machine at 4K, at over 100 FPS, with most games maxed entirely out. Future upgrades include adding the Corsair iCUE ELITE CPU Cooler LCD Display Upgrade Kit to the AIO, adding light strips to the case, and installing an LCD display where the glass window is located near the PSU. ------------------------------- Some info about the parts used in the build ------------------------------------- The case is a Corsair 7000D Airflow. This case is massive, with lots of airflow and room to build. It supports up to a 480 Rad in the front, a 420 on the top, a 360 on the side, and a 140 on the rear. Therefore, lots of large fans can be used throughout the case. The motherboard is an Asus Crosshair VIII Dark Hero. This motherboard has an insane amount of USB ports on the back, has both 2.5G and 1 G ethernet, Wifi 6, Post-Error code reporting, and fantastic overclocking potential. Lastly, the board has 2 PCIe 4 M.2 slots for fast storage. The case fans are all Corsair QL 140mm case fans. These fans are great fans with lots of RGB! The AIO is a Corsair iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler, a 420mm radiator. The PSU is a Seasonic Prime 1300w 80 Plus Platinum. Seasonic makes some of the best PSUs in the market. Therefore, that is why I went with them. Please see the Build Parts List for the other parts used in this build. Thank you for checking out my build! :)$4,546.10 -

Five years ago I joined the world of building custom gaming PCs with my very first gaming desktop containing a Core i5-4690K and a GTX 960 2GB. Ironically enough this was also my very first time visiting my local Micro Center location about an hour drive away. I knew that this wouldn't be the final form of that system and have been upgrading on a roughly annual basis little by little; new CPU cooler here, new GPU there, real standard stuff. By the end of 2020 AMD and NVIDIA both dropped their massive architecture improvements; namely Zen 3 and Ampere. With my recent paychecks from my new part-time job saved up from Christmas break, I knew I wanted to go all out on upgrades and decided to restart from the ground up to build the ultimate system of my dreams. Behold Eclipse; my Ryzen 9 5900X and RTX 3090 FE gaming and editing PC. Yes I know the CPU and GPU are super hard to get ahold of, I feel you 100%. But let this just be a reminder to not give in to scalpers. The CPU was bought from Micro Center at MSRP and the GPU was bought from a guy looking to trade for an RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT. He dropped the price to $1600 when I offered to meet him halfway so even if I'd have bought this GPU myself, the total would've only been $11 cheaper after tax. Even if he wanted the $1589 the card costed after tax I probably would've brought him $11 worth of food for his troubles anyway haha. I really hope you all like this rig as it was my first build with this magnitude of hardware and I think it turned out fantastic. If you wanna see the build process, I highly recommend you check out the video I made on my YouTube channel which can be found here: https://youtu.be/RJSADalELNg I do a lot of fun PC builds and other PC-tech related stuff on my channel so I'd really appreciate if you took a look. I went to rebuild my rig to an all-white build, and ended up with an opportunity to upgrade CPU, MoBo, & PSU while doing so. 99% of the time this PC is on it is gaming, with half of the time streaming from it while gaming (on my Facebook Gaming Page, WhyNotDonP3). I mainly play Warzone, Battlefield 2042, Battlefront 2, AC Odyssey & Valhalla, with some others sprinkled in here and there. Biggest thing I did on this build was take my time while doing all the wiring routing & cable management to get it done right. I installed all the fans & controllers first, installed the motherboard, connected the fan controllers & case I/O to the MoBo, then ran and tidied up all the fan & RGB headers, tidied up the case I/O wires nice and tight, then ran the easy to run PSU Cables, for an overall nice and clean back panel. The system was originally built for benching in overclocking competitions, specifically for CPU and memory overclocking. It has since been used for general web browsing and gaming, with some performance tweaking going on every now and then when I get the urge. I can bench the delidded 8700k at 5.4ghz (Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on the die) in Cinebench and my memory runs stable at DDR4 4000 C15-15-15-30 with a Command Rate of 2. tREFI at 65535 and tRFC at 300. Every single timing has been tightened to their limits, from primaries all the way down to the last tertiary timing. RTL and IO-L values have been manually dialed in to prevent the RAM from training outside of my specifications. Currently, the least impressive aspect of my system is the graphics card. It's a stock RTX 2080 Ti using a reference PCB and modded to use my old 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid cooler. Anything is possible with a rotary tool. I plan on using a custom Heatkiller Pro IV block to replace the FTW3 hybrid cooler and eventually mod the card to support a higher power limit through shunt mods. My cooling solution is quite overkill, hence the name of this build. My CPU water block is a Heatkiller Pro IV. My loop has a massive 1260mm radiator with 18 Corsair ML140 fans in a push-pull configuration. My water never exceeds the ambient air temperature in my room. It's for this exact reason that I am able to bench my processor as high as 5.4ghz, and run at 5.1ghz stable under load. I use a standard EKWB D5 Liang pump which has a high enough flow rate to move the liquid through my radiator. To top everything off, I use a little pink desk fan to keep my motherboard VRM's cool under this heavy load. If it looks stupid but works, it's not stupid.$4,067.68 -

The name of my system is Challenger because when I started my build back in 2013 it was a challenge to build. Eventually it was challenger to build it better and faster. The performance got better and better every generation. The purpose of my build is for gaming, photo editing, Video editing, light graphic design, web design, and some crypto mining when I'm not using it for watching movies. As you can tell my system has always been put to the test, that is why I have a 1000 watt PSU and 32gb or RAM to make sure I can support anything I throw at it. Before this new model I had a an intel i9-990K and that did great until this 12th gen of CPU's. The 3080ti really comes alive when it comes to games like Red Dead II and Far Cry 6. I didn't my best could get better but it did when I up graded my system to the 12th Gen CPU. All of this performance is viewed by my Alienware 34" Ultra wide 4k Monitor at 120hz. I was truly amazed when I was playing Far Cry 6 at an average of 110fps at 4k when I first played it on this system. I haven't edited any video yet but the moment I get a product I know it will go by in a flash. The Corsair 4000D case was a tight fit for this rig but it really made a complex system look super clean and simple. I was never really into RGB fans but since everything had RGB I had to buy them and now I'm a fan. lol I'm used to full PC cases but now there is no such thing as a full size case any more since they cover the bottom end with a PSU cover. So if you are like me and had an old full size case with no PSU cover, keep it if you ever want to add a second card for any reason. The Corsair 4000D fits a full size ATX motherboard but that last PCIE slot is going to be just for show. Nothing more than one card fits ion this mid size tower and that also goes for the full size frame as well. This the first time time that I have bought an Asus ROG Maximus Hero motherboard and this board is nothing but high class. You truly get what you pay for in this board. The only thing you'll be sorry about is the price but once you open the box and see all the cool features it comes with you'll be excited to plug it in. The board comes with so many features it would take too long for me to list them but I will say that there is a button that helps you release your GPU from the board which is super helpful. The board also support about 4 NVME SSD's, Two on the board and two on an addition PCIE attachment that comes with the board. This board also has a pretty interesting display that is not that bright but very cool to look at. The board also has plenty of slots for those of you that like to build custom water cooled rigs. I personally use a Corsair AIO cooler H100I Elite Capellix and it does just fine. Mixed with 3 RGB 120mm Fans in the front and 2 120 fans on the cooler and 1 to the rear of the case. So there is RGB all over this Challenger. The only place that doesn't have RGB is my Gigabyte 3080ti and my Corsair RAM. This leads me to remind everyone that if you are upgrading to the 12th Gen CPU's you can't use DDR4 RAM you need DDR 5. I had to learn that the hard way and they aren't cheap right now, so to save some money I purchased the Corsair 32GB 5200mhz RAM kit without RGB at around $300. Anything at that size with RGB will cost you an arm and a leg right now.$4,025.93 -

I first built it nearly 20 years ago, but much like Theseus' ship, nothing of that original PC now remains. Every upgrade retained some pieces of the previous incarnations, but over time every single thing has been upgraded or otherwise swapped out. I have been VERY lucky, especially with Microcenter, not just in recent times but for quite some time, having won a few gift cards, been given free upgrades, and just in finding hard-to-find parts on random whims.$4,007.39 -

I started building this PC last year sometime and finished early this year. This machine provides me with everything I need to both play and stream the games that I love at the same time. If you watch any of my content, you'll see that I love FPS games. MW 2019, Apex Legends, Valorant, and less recently Overwatch. If I had to do something differently, it would have to be a larger case. Right now my PSU is at the absolute limit in terms of length available in this case. Right now I don't have any plans to upgrade anything in the PC! I helped each and everyone of my friends build their computers and I scored them each a 3000 series GPU through a lot of hard work and luck, constantly checking all sites, all the time! It's possible everyone. I so far have helped 11 people this year score a GPU at MSRP, or as close as I can get to it! Good luck everyone and have fun!$3,939.93 -

I built it to create a beautiful, high-performance computer in the limited chassis space. At the same time, I want to reduce the noise during use. This PC includes AMD 5900x and ASUS Strix 3090(with EK active cooling backplate). I put EK PE360 which is a thick radiator and a thin 240 radiator inside the 4000D case. I'm trying to make full use of the space in this chassis. The thermal performance is great and I hope you guys enjoy it. Thanks.$3,874.94 -
