Working from home during the Covid-19, I got a bit bored and wanted play some games on my down time. I started playing some games on my Macbook pro as well on my Microsoft Surface Laptop. Didn't get far with my thousand dollar laptop. Was going to buy another laptop but then ended up reading and understanding about building a PC. This is my first build. The main purpose of building this pc was to play games like Watch Dog 2, Need for Speed Heat, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Call of Duty MW Warzone, GTA V, and many more. I also do a lot of construction design reviews using Autodesk programs such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revits, Navisworks, and Bluebeam program. With the PC setup listed below, I've seen FPS between the range of 100 to 150s depending on the games I play. That's with no overclocking. I am using a Dell S3220DGF 32" Curve monitor that I later bought to replace my HP 25er monitor.

My whole group of friends all played computer games and constantly egged me on to get a pc. Unfortunately i did not have money and a job as I was still finishing high school. Soon as I finished I got a job at Target and started putting in the hours to finally get my pc. My build originally started simple with a ryzen 3 2200g, b450 motherboard, 500gb ssd, and a ryzen rx 480 red devil. I wanted to upgrade in the future but knew Target was not going to cut it because high end pc parts are a pretty penny. So I went to trade school and now im an electrician trainee making decent money. After a long job with a total house remodel I happened to be passing micro center on my way home. I was tired but thought "hey why not check it out and maybe treat myself for the hard work" plus I had just gotten a rather large check haha. A friendly employee helped me out and I ended up walking out with pretty much an entire new build worth of upgrades.

Back when i was a kid i always wanted to have my own gaming pc, I use to go to pc rentals just to play my favorite games. This is a budget friendly build not so expensive and not so cheap. I worked a lot for this one and im not stopping, just like my passion in gaming i would always be up for something better. The feeling to be able to build yoiur own pc is one of kind experience and it is something not all of us can do. Im still learning and still working on my building skills and with this community i know for sure i will be better. I will be upgrading my build in the next few years and i will be working on parts that needs to be dealt with. I love playing MOBA games and MMORPG. Single player and multiplayer campaigns are one of my favorites too. Im still playing dota 2 for the last 7 years and looking forward on the new games like Assassins Creed Valhalla which i got recently when i bought the AMD Ryzen 7 3700x. Hopefully i got the chance to win the $500 for me to be able to buy a better chair and desk and other peripherals. Thank you!

This is my main PC that I use every day. over the years since i bought this case, it has seen many upgrades, to the point where its at right now. I've gotten into overclocking, and this chip i definitely won the silicon lottery with. I daily run at 4.5ghz all core 1.15v 33x mesh, and bench at 5ghz all core 1.4v 33x mesh. I have the 8x8GB DDR4 running at 4000mhz CL15. thing is a beast. Full parts list including all of the watercooling hardware! ---> https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NXdW9G

This was my first custom rig, built originally for light gaming, but morphed into a much more complex and powerful build (and more expensive) that I originally planned. I may have sacrificed a bit in performance for aesthetic, as water cooling and high-end RGB components are not cheap. I currently play games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassins Creed: Odyssey, Monster Hunter: World, the Dishonored franchise, GTAV, and plan on getting Cyberpunk 2077 when it releases. I am in the process of upgrading my GPU from the 980ti to a RTX 2070 Super, and recently upgraded my monitors from a 24" LG 1080p 70Hz and Asus 27" 2k 60Hz to dual LG Ultragear 27" 144hz 1440p monitors. Sadly, with the GPU upgrade, I will be converting from water cooling to all air cooling, with plans to add an AIO CPU cooler down the road.

The gtx 970 was a tank of a card but it was time to move on. I built this computer for gaming and and general tasks and the 2060 super, Ryzen 7 combo works real nice together. I built this as a way to help with boredom and keep connected with my kids during the 2020 lock downs. Started its life in a Thermal take case and just the Asus Board and Ryzen 3 2200g but then the PC building/ Customizing bug hit me and hit me hard. I attempted to customize the thermal take case but that wasn't going the direction I wanted so I searched for a case that better fit my need but also wasn't the same mainstream cases I was seeing all over the internet ie the Nzxt. Ifound the case on Amazon and purchased it although the case could be slightly better it really fits my needs and satisfied my need to see the computer while its operating. I added a RX570 graphics card and more hard drive space. Then over the early summer the need to upgrade was further intensified when my son wanted to build his first computer. So I made him a deal he could have the Ryzen 3 2200g when I could get a Ryzen 3 3300x. Well after a long wait I was able to secure one of the 3300X cpu's at micro center upon installing the new CPU I determined I would be adding a NVME drive to hold the one and only game I play. So that was added and a heat sink, that although isn't needed it looks really good under the CPU fan. PSU extension cables were added for purely looks and not for function. All the case fans are remote controlled for their respective LED effects and the Wraith Prism is controlled by the Cooler Master Software. To do it all over I would have definitely done far more research and possibly gone another route with the motherboard, and I would definitely say I should have opted for a different Graphic Card like a RX 580 or a 5700. But those are Items I can add or change at a later time. This was started as just a simple Web Browsing machine and morphed into something else entirely. I am looking at changing the fans to one that have PWM control as these are just simple fans that have no speed adjustment.

I am a lifelong PlayStation fanboy and decided to venture out into something new. I will still play PlayStation but my PC will be my main gaming platform to play adventure games such as Assassins Creed. In addition, I will be using this PC to play all the Xbox titles that I like such as Gears of War and Halo. This PC is pretty much the vehicle I will be using to enhance my gaming experience and get off of PlayStation Island. The secondary reason for this PC is to get used to windows 10 again. I have been an Apple fan boy as well and my family has been this way for about 10 years. The only PC I have in my house was a small ASUS from Walmart that was only used to run Microsoft Project for my project management courses in my MBA. Now I have this powerful computer to run my projects.

This is a budget PC built on purpose for a home office in a new construction by Toll Brothers. The design of the 4000 square feet house is towards the modern style in the interior decoration. The office room has a full suite of barn style wooden furniture. This PC has to fit naturally into a customized ladder desk between two windows. The RGB is a must-to-have feature to add some live and modern element to the office. The spectrum theme shown in the photo was not a good fit, but the white theme was perfect. The hardware itself is not important and could be an overkill for routine office work.

Project Titan is a yellow and black themed Intel/Nividia build with RGB lighting, sleeved cables, all housed within a coolermaster h500p mesh in gunmetal grey. This build has been a work in progress for several years, and is finally at a point where I would call it "complete". Project Titan has been built up primarily for simulators, especially DCS and soon Microsoft Flight Simulator, but also all sorts of gaming. The build as it sits today has basically none of the parts it started out with back in 2012, but got here piece by piece over the years. It started out with an AMD Phenom II x4 and a 4870x2, which eventually got switched for an Intel 4930k setup paired with an RX 480 4gb, then a 1070 FE. Then I switched it up to a Z390 platform with a 9600k and 1080, and now it sits basically finished with an 8700k replacing the 9600k. If I could have done anything different, I would have probably gone with AMD back when I got my 9600k. Back then, I would have instead gone for a 2700x paired with an x470. This would have given me a better upgrade path moving forward. Alternatively, I should have waited a couple more months for the initial launch of Zen 2. I think I would have also gone with the Lian Li PC011 Dynamic rather than my H500P Mesh. I love the h500p mesh and its enormous cooling capabilities, but the aesthetics of the dynamic for only a small hit in cooling performance really cannot be beat. More recently, I would have held off on picking up my 8700k...the 9900k prices are dropping and I could have dropped $100 for the 9900k instead. For the future, there is a chance I will still be going for the 9900k if I can. That would be the end game for my z390 platform and would have me really getting my money's worth out of the investment in the platform. I also see the possibility of going for an Ampere card when the release, or perhaps a Turing card if the prices come down. Beyond that, I think my next major build is probably 2-3 years away. By then, I will likely sell my entire PC and start from scratch for the first time in many years. Thanks for reading!
