1. Open a File Explorer window. To do this, open the Charms by holding down the Windows Key and press the C key on your keyboard. From the Charms, select Search.
   
2. In the search box, type file. In the list of programs on the left, click File Explorer.
   
3. Click the View ribbon, and then click the check box next to Hidden items.
