How to fix a problem with Windows Update
Description: How to have Windows troubleshoot computer issues with Windows Update.
- Click Start then Control panel.
- Click Action Center and then click Troubleshooting Common Computer Problems.
- Click Fix Problems with Windows Update.
- On the Windows update screen that opens up, click Next.
- Windows will detect problems.
- When the troubleshooting completes, the screen will show the outcome and if it has been corrected.
- To finish, click Close Troubleshooter or the close button in the lower right corner of the screen.
