Description: This is a technical article intended to help explain how to repair Office 2007 using the control panel. This information can be useful to get certain Office programs working correctly.

1. Close out of all open windows and programs on the machine, so only a blank desktop with icons remains.
2. Click on the Start button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

3. In the Search Programs and Files box, type Programs and Features and press Enter.

4. Find Microsoft Office 2007 in the programs list, right click it, then select Change.

5. Once open, select Repair then Continue.

6. Office will then begin to repair itself.

7. Once completed click Close.

8. The system will prompt for a restart. Click Yes.

9. Once the system restarts Office will have been repaired.
