Meet Your Manager, Steven Miller

Steven is originally from Columbus, Ohio and recently relocated to the Houston store from Dallas. Steven has a passion for technology and loves mapping out technological solutions to optimize systems and processes. What Steven loves about being store manager is interacting with his associates and, most of all customers. Our ability to bridge the gap between customers needs and our passion for technology separates us from every other business.

Before beginning his career at Micro Center, Steven served over 18 years in the United States Marines. As a senior enlisted advisor, his service spanned the globe to include Operation Dynamic Response Kosovo and Operation Enduring Freedom. Throughout his military career, Steven has been assigned in numerous assignments and received multiple commendations to include 2005 USO Soldier of the Year, presented by Bob Taft.

The greatest lesson Steven has learned is to treat others as you want to be treated and confide in your team. He believes that the greatest successes have come from learning and growing with his team. Steven truly feels that there hasn’t been a day he hasn’t been excited to go into work because of the associates and customers that make the Houston store indomitable.

When he’s not spending time at work, Steven loves to play chess and has dedicated over 20 years playing chess. Last year, Steven played over 10,000 games competitively. Steven also spends time volunteering in support of the Wounded Warrior Project and Veteran’s Outreach Programs. Please come by and say hello, Steven is excited to meet you!
