Nitro Blaze handhelds and AI-powered laptops highlight Acer's CES 2025 lineup
Aspire, Swift Go, and Vero: Acer’s latest laptops pack AI and eco-friendly featuresNews
Acer has plenty of new devices lined up for 2025 with a good mix of new laptops, handheld gaming devices, mini PCs, and accessories. Some have dates and prices; others are still TBA (keep an eye on Micro Center News – as soon as we know more, so will you!). And, of course, there’s plenty of super useful AI features.

Acer Aspire 14 AI
Acer's upcoming Aspire 14 AI looks to deliver solid value in a mid-range laptop. The Aspire 14 houses Intel's latest Core Ultra processors, complete with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI tasks.

Its 3.09-pound design with a purported 18-hour battery life means it's made for portability. Display options include either a 14-inch OLED or WUXGA touch panel.
There are two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.1 port. With Wi-Fi 6E, up to 32GB RAM, the Aspire 14 AI is primed to be a great value laptop when it launches in February.
Acer Swift Go 16 AI & Swift Go 14 AI

The Swift Go from Acer are premium ultraportable laptops launching in spring 2025. Each houses AMD's new Ryzen AI 300 Series processor, bringing dedicated AI hardware to the Swift line. Both the 16 and 14 offer a choice of 3K/2K OLED or 2K IPS touch panels running at up to 90Hz. The OLED versions feature DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500.
Acer includes a 1440p QHD IR camera for remote work and streaming with smart features like automatic screen locking. With Wi-Fi 7 and USB-C ports the Swift Go doesn't skimp on quality features.
If you prefer Intel, Acer will also offer Intel-based versions of these laptops—the Swift Go 16 (SFG16-73/T) and Swift Go 14 (SFG14-74/T)— each sporting Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 2 processors, Intel Arc graphics, and similar premium displays and battery life.
Acer Aspire Vero 16

The Acer Aspire Vero 16 launches in April 025. Acer says it's made from over 70 percent post-consumer recycled plastic and bio-based oyster shell materials.
What's particularly interesting is the military-grade durability rating (MIL-STD-810H) combined with some impressive specs: Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, up to 32GB RAM, and up to 2TB storage. The 16-inch display promises 100 percent sRGB coverage, while a 1440p QHD webcam and Wi-Fi 7 are welcome inclusions.
With Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, and a claimed 10.5-hour battery life, this CES 2025 Innovation Award winner could be a compelling option for environmentally conscious consumers who don't want to compromise performance.
Acer Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11

Not to be outdone by other handheld PCs, Acer has two new handheld gaming devices: the Nitro Blaze 8 (8.8-inch display) and 11 (10.95-inch display). Each houses an AMD Ryzen 8040 processor with 16GB of RAM.
Display-wise, the Blaze 8’s 8.8-inch and Blaze 11’s 10.95-inch screens both offer 144Hz refresh rates and 500 nits brightness. The larger Blaze 11 adds detachable controllers, similar to the Nintendo Switch.
Including Hall Effect controls is an interesting choice and could give Acer an edge by avoiding oft-complained-about stick drift issues as the handheld ages. Both devices will land in North America in quarter 2 of 2025.
With the higher refresh rate, brightness, Hall Effect controls, and detachable controllers (on the Blaze 11), Acer is definitely putting together a premium handheld gaming experience that has the potential to be the definitive gaming-on-the-go experience.
Acer's new Wi-Fi gear

The Acer Connect M6E 5G drops early next year and includes global coverage across more than 135 countries through physical and eSIM options. What caught my eye was the SignalScan feature, which disconnects you from spotty connections and searches for a better one. Acer claims a battery life of up to 28 hours on a single charge of its 8,000 mAh battery.
Acer's also rolling out the Wave D7, a plug-and-play dongle that brings Wi-Fi 7 speeds to your existing network. Acer purports speeds up to 2,880 Mbps on the 6 GHz band, plus full tri-band support. Their MLO+ tech lets you connect to two access points simultaneously, meaning fewer Netflix buffering annoyances.
Expect both devices to hit shelves in early 2025.
Acer's new All-in-One computers and Revo Box AI

Acer’s overhauling its all-in-one (AIO) lineup with four new models. For the professionals, the Aspire S24 AI and S27 AI favor feature minimalist designs and offer a FHD 120Hz screen or QHD panels with optional touch, Intel Core Ultra chips and integrated Arc graphics.
On the performance side, the Aspire C24 AI and C27 AI pack AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors and Radeon 800M graphics. Their displays feature an impressive 180Hz at QHD resolution, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD.
Acer expects they’ll arrive in North America in Q2 2025.
The Revo Box AI is equally intriguing for those wanting a compact PC without sacrificing connectivity or power. It packs Intel Core Ultra processors, Arc graphics, and up to 32GB of LPDDR5 memory—plus an impressive spread of ports, including DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, USB 4 Type-C, and dual 2.5G Ethernet. It should launch in North America in quarter 2 2025.
More gaming gear and new Nitro laptops

Acer's new Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller supports screens up to 8.3 inches, with USB-C connectivity for both Android and iOS. The chassis also has an 18W pass-through charging feature and rubber grip pads. It’ll hit North America in Q2 2025.
At the same time, Acer's expanding its Nitro V laptop series with five new models: Nitro V 17 AI, V 16 AI, V 14 AI, V 15 AI, and V 15. The new laptops span from smallish 14-inch to desktop-replacement 17-inch designs, with most models featuring AI capabilities. No full specs yet, and North American pricing is unannounced for now.
