Supporting Safe and Informed Associates, Customers and Communities

As the global effect of COVID-19 continues to evolve, Micro Center is firmly committed to the health and safety of our associates, customers and the communities we serve. As we continue vigilant store sanitation efforts including frequent enhancements, we recognize that the prevalence of COVID-19 is growing throughout our nation. We are implementing several new practices to keep our associates and customers healthy.

  •  Before entering the store, each associate is screened by a medical assistant and their temperature is checked
  •  We are practicing social distancing by limiting the number of customers shopping at one time and marking 6ft segments throughout the store
  •  To eliminate crowds and adhere to social distancing, we have implemented a text-based waitlist for when our customer limit is reached and ask customers to wait in their car
  •  Our stores are deep cleaned daily and commonly touched areas are disinfected consistently throughout the day
  •  Acrylic shields have been installed at checkout for the safety of customers and associates
  •  We require associates to wear face coverings.
  •  We have implemented a dedicated shopping hour for customers over 60 years old and those defined by the CDC as vulnerable or at risk.
  •   At this time, we are accepting all normal forms of payment but are encouraging the use of credit cards / debit cards to minimize physical contact.

Like other essential businesses and in spite of our efforts, we have received confirmation of positive COVID-19 tests among some of our associates and it is likely that in the coming weeks we will hear of additional confirmed cases.

In these instances, our priority will be to ensure that those affected are notified and cared for first. After that, we will ensure that we follow industry standards in thoroughly cleansing and sanitizing the affected work areas and that we follow all CDC and County Health Department guidelines.

Below is a list of recent confirmed cases of COVID-19 that we have been made aware of:
