Case was great to build in and had no issues with MC or any of their parts. Good prices for the parts imo but the cooler was a bit pricey. Great MB with onboard WiFi for the B550 chipset. RGB was nice to setup and I really liked how the build came out. I could only attach one photo as all my other ones were taken in portrait mode and you can’t attach those here, but the photo I attached gives a good look at how it came out.$972.92 -

For the longest time, I was playing games like Fortnite and Minecraft on my 2016 13" MacBook Pro, dual-booted with Windows 10. However, gaming performance was subpar with this; I wanted to be able to enjoy games graphically but also wanted something portable since I was moving between my dorm room and my home a lot. About a year later, in August 2018, I bought an eGPU with a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580. This was definitely a step up but it was a pain to maintain and keep operational, as Windows 10 updates constantly broke it and caused error 12. Shortly after buying my eGPU, I began doing research on building my own PC and saving up. I did research off and on for a couple years and then, this past spring after COVID hit and quarantine started, I finally decided to pull the trigger and build my own PC. I did a bunch of research on what the best parts were and how to actually build my computer. After I had my list of parts nailed down, I started watching prices. I saw my local Micro Center had only one Sapphire Nitro+ RX 5700 XT Special Edition in stock, so I went ahead and ordered it for pickup. I got to Micro Center and decided to look around for a bit, as it was my first time being in one. While I was there, I decided I might as well pick up my case too. However, an employee asked me if I needed any help. Long story short, I walked out of Micro Center that day with everything I needed to build my PC (whoops). Later that night, I began building my PC. It went fairly well, but I did struggle with getting the motherboard into the case. Being a first time builder, I attached the Z63 pump to the CPU right away-- that meant that I had to somehow get the motherboard in while also holding the radiator and not putting too much stress on the pump. I didn't want to take off the pump, as I feared messing up the pre-applied thermal paste. I was finally able to get the motherboard in and the rest of my build was pretty easy. Shortly after I completed the build, one of the lights went out in one of the fans on my RX 5700 XT. I took it back to Micro Center to replace, but they did not have the same one in stock, so I just decided to use my RX 580 from my eGPU and save up for when AMD releases new GPUs. The PC performs great and playing games on it is a blast. The white NZXT case is simple and pleasing to look at. I'm extremely pleased with my choice of parts. I mostly use the PC for gaming, playing anything from PVP games like Fortnite or Warzone, to other games like No Man's Sky or Satisfactory. I am able to run everything on high-ultra settings and get 60+ FPS. I would love to be able to get more frames, but my monitor is only a 60Hz monitor, so I am not too concerned about that right now. Next to upgrade will be the monitor and then the GPU. I'm hoping to find a nice 1440p 144Hz monitor during Black Friday or Amazon Prime Day. I am hoping to stick with AMD for my next GPU, but would also love to get a GPU capable of ray-tracing. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments!$1,539.92 -

Although I've been more of a Mac guy for quite a while, I wanted a good gaming PC to play different games with my son and friends. Halo, GoW, plus a lot of others. I also do a lot of 3d printing, so this is good for Fusion360 and my design work.$1,663.93 -

I have wanted to build a PC for many years but never found the right time to do it as I had a ps5 and didn't think there was a point in getting a pc if I had to skimp out on a few parts. This summer I decided to research and build myself a gaming pc that I would be able to enjoy. While I was able to spend a little more than I would have been able to a few years ago, I didn't go all out on RGB or other visuals. The parts I ended up choosing will be able to hold me off for a couple of years while still giving me the ability to enjoy higher settings. I'm always willing to add small accessories that might add to the appeal of my pc. As this is my first pc build ever, I am always willing to listen if anyone has any tips or opinions. My first upgrade will be adding an RGB exhaust fan to the case as all my fans are either at the front or top currently. When starting the build, I was nervous to see if I would actually be able to turn it on without any help. Luckily I ended up not needing it, but having a Micro Center 20 minutes away that I could ask to help if I got stuck definitely made it less intimidating. All in all, for my first attempt, it went well. Ready to enjoy using my build for the foreseeable future as well as any upgrades that might come with it. (It took about 6 hours from opening the first box to entering the BIOS for the first time)$1,841.91 -

Built this on 08/02/2023 for gaming, SPECIFICALLY STARFIELD AND CYBERPUNK. My first personal build in about 12 years. Coming from a i7 3770k/1080, I was getting 30 - 40 fps on medium settings for the most recent AAA games on my old rig. Now I can max everything and still get 100+ fps. Feels good lol. The 7800x3d is awesome and the 4090 is a beast. Running this on a 3440x1440 100hz G-sync monitor, it doesn't break a sweat even when running Cyberpunk 2077 and Hogwarts legacy with full ray tracing. Some of the games I play are Chivalry 2, Counter Strike, Fallout 4, Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, Red Dead Redemption, Baldur's Gate 3, and Sid Meier's Pirates. Also STARFIELD. I CAN'T WAIT. JUST 27 MORE DAYS. I bought every single part from Microcenter, except for the 4090 which I got directly from Nvidia, and a few fans and one ssd which I pulled from my old computer.$3,107.90 -
