Trying not to alter the case too much, I searched around to find components that would work. In the end I ended up trimming the back panel to work with the mobo ports, cutting a hole to pass the power cables through the top shelf to the rest of the PC, installed my own stand-offs and mounting plate. And let’s just not talk about the CPU radiator being held in by zip-ties.$0.00 -

I don't plan on changing anything for a while after this. I chose this case because I liked the unique layout and I knew the watercooling obsession would eventually lead to hardline tubing. So I wanted a cheap case that would force me to be creative with the design and whip out the Dremel for a custom fit. It did not disappoint. I also purchased some cut glass from the hardware store, painted the edge, and mount it using magenetic strips to use as my side panel. The decision to finally go hardline was a used Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Master for $180 and EK's FLT reservoir/pump combo. Everything was bought used or very discounted, except for CPU, fans, and anything regarding watercooling. It was a fun challenge that I am glad is over and thankfully, stayed dry. 3D modeling prior was critical and thanks to every gamer/enthusiast for inspiration! Hope you guys like it and feel free to ask any questions! Primarily used for gaming, general purpose, engineering, and 3D modeling. I had an old Mini-ITX case which I turned into a desktop computer with potentially some gaming capability. To accommodate newer Ryzen 5000 series CPUs I selected a small Micro-ATX motherboard ($38 shipped off eBay) ASRock B450 B450M R4.0 and fit it in a tiny case. Currently it is powered by AMD Ryzen 3 2200g CPU. I paired it with 16GB DDR4-3200 memory, Intel 240GB SSD drive and 2TB WD hard drive. The plan is to add a M2 ssd drive and a MicroCenter's Ryzen 5600g or 5700g CPU. Maybe later add even a discrete graphics card. At the moment the build will be used for general purpose computing with some occasional gaming (per my son's request).$0.00 -

After I knew what GPU I was going with, I decided to go AMD and got a 3600 CPU. I also decided to make my PC light up using as much RGB as I can. Currently has AIO with 3 RGB fans, as well as an additional 3 RGB fans. I also got a 24pin RGB Extension and 8 pin RGB extension that have not been added to the build yet.$0.00 -

I was 16 at the time, and he helped me pick out all the parts and pore over the details, going through review after review to get what fit our needs best. That's what dad was always good at. Mom would make fun of him all the time. Every time we needed something, like new cleats for my younger sister playing soccer or a drawing tablet for my younger brother to get his ideas out on something other than loose-leaf paper, we knew that we'd be waiting at least a week or two or three before my dad finally came back to us with the "definitive best choice" for each of us. This rig isn't the most powerful, or the most beautiful, or the most expensive. But it is what worked for us at the time. When we built it the first time, I was so excited that the fan had color! It lit up the corner of our house's computer room a bright red, shining that hue across our decade-old family PC hunched over next to it. This new PC was so futuristic and new and... big! And that's how we decided to name it. Big Red. Now I'm 22, working a job two states away, in my own apartment, typing this up on the same untouched machine that I put together with my dad all those years ago. It's seen countless games, countless hours of watching videos, doing homework, dialing in to work calls, connecting online with friends hundreds of miles away. And I'm glad I still have Big Red to keep me company.$0.00 -

So the following pictures and parts are the culmination of my work of collecting free PC parts that I will eventually turn into my own server. Built in 2014, this PC has lived for 10 years doing tasks such as gaming, media center, and general purpose. I sometimes still can't believe I made it last 10 years. Most people would've upgraded by year 3, but I never really found a reason to do a full rebuild. It's now 2024 and it is showing its age especially after purchasing an ultrawide monitor. Retirement might be on the horizon, but I truly think this still has some life. It probably won't be gaming or intense work, but it'll be an awesome web browsing/video streaming PC.$0.00 -

Started using Plex for streaming personal media a year ago and filled up the 8TB external HDD pretty quick! Figured this was... Started using Plex for streaming personal media a year ago and filled up the 8TB external HDD pretty quick! Figured this was the perfect opportunity to get into the world of servers. I wanted something that was SFF, dead silent, had plenty of HDD bays, and still looked good to set on my desk. Didn't like the look of the Node 304 or NR200 but when the SSUPD Meshlicious came out, I knew I could make it unique and exactly what I wanted. Decided to upgrade my gaming rig (2020 Build) during this process and use those parts for the server or buy used. Server GPU was omitted since I have my own gaming rig which can handle heavy duties if necessary. Check out both rigs in the last photo! Using unRAID has been a great choice of server OS and an amazing learning tool to get into servers! Since it's used primarily for Plex by my family, drives are spun down most of the time. Plex libraries are split up into different drives allowing for a single HDD spin up at a time depending on the movie/show. The system remains dead silent, even when 1 or 2 drives are in use. Thermals are a non-issue. Even during 24-hour data transfer to all drives at once, HDDs never hit above 38 degrees. Plex use is 30 degrees. Incredibly happy with the way it came out and couldn't recommend the SSUPD Meshlicious enough as an insanely versatile and beautiful SFF case.$0.00 -

I still love playing fps in stereoscopic 3D, on this computer, that i believe I built 10+ years ago. It has an i7 960 Intel CPU, 8GB Ram, and dual 16x SINGLE slot pci-ex slots (not 8x / 8x). I boot to 32 bit Win XP with the GS7600 nVidia videocard on a 21" Viewsonic 120hz CRT monitor and H3D wired shutter glasses. I also dual boot into 64bit Win7 Pro with the GTX690 nVidia videocard on 3 Acer X1261P 3D projectors for a total screen size thats 15 feet long (resolution is 3072 x 768). I replace the proprietary 500watt power supply with a Thermaltake one and the "Ice cooler", which is also Shuttles proprietary cpu cooler with a Zalman. I play (in glorious 3D) the original Dead Space 1,2, & 3, Tomb Raiders, Max Payne, Painkiller type games.$0.00 -

While it's takes a while to boot, it's a gaming machine to boot. I'm okay with 720p, so most games can run at 30-60fps with some tweaks. Inde games and older AAA games are no problem, and Overwatch runs good enough (with some stutters). It would be nice to add 4GB of RAM to make it 8GB and an SSD so that it runs a bit smoother.$0.00 -

It was a i7-th gen MSI dual fan 1060ti, which was later upgraded to 2070 super. It was a prebuilt custom pc from cyberpower and over The years i've had so many issues with the p c sometimes. The case was terrible it caused a lot of overheating and my p c would crash often when I ran even medium load work like turning on rocket league. I figured it was time to build a new p c and this time I wanted to make sure I future proof it without worrying about cost. Because the last p c I bought I built a little conservative because I was still in college and so I didn't want to spend too much money. It was actually a long Time dream of mine to build a new PC. But this time get a case that actually looks cool and I've looked at a lot of open concept cases as well as a panoramic glass cases. I want exposure to the internal components. And also wanted some internal rgb in my build, not too much rgb. I play a lot of AAA games, also FPS shooters, etc. Some of the games i play are valorant, rocket league, cod, halo, overwatch 2, battlefield, csgo, etc. Also a lot of single player games like tomb raider, horizon, last of us, etc. Every game I played told now I have played using logo settings just so my p c would not crash. I wanted a build where i would have to worry about that and be able to play on hight/max settings so i can appreciate the details and art of the games. I've thought about getting into streaming and no right now. I'm thinking about getting into dollarant streaming and/ content creation. I am a huge fan of Keeoh and his videos. Even if I don't get a lot of viewers? I still wouldn't like to be able to stream just doing for the fun. I got all of the streamer components no, just built a very high end p c capable of high quality gameplay End multitask for streaming, Also got some nice streaming cameras a hyperex quadcast s mic. Not sure when I'm actually going to start streaming but hopefully. It's sometimes in your future once I settle in to my new apartment. At the moment instead of streaming I have a youtube channel where I post clips of really funny or good gameplay for f p s games. I'm going to continue doing that till I am able to stream$0.00 -
