Build Description
An oldie but a goodie. Built in 2014, this PC has lived for 10 years doing tasks such as gaming, media center, and general purpose. I sometimes still can't believe I made it last 10 years. Most people would've upgraded by year 3, but I never really found a reason to do a full rebuild. It's now 2024 and it is showing its age especially after purchasing an ultrawide monitor. Retirement might be on the horizon, but I truly think this still has some life. It probably won't be gaming or intense work, but it'll be an awesome web browsing/video streaming PC.
Favorite Feature
The 4790k is easily my favorite and one of the best CPUs ever. I also have a PC Power & Cooling PSU from 2009. If you know about Seasonic, you know quality and this PSU has went through two builds and 15 years of use. Pretty impressive.
