The laptop I used during my school years could only handle games such as CS:GO and Osu. With this pc I hope to play more demanding games such as Cyberpunk as well as some photo and video editing. I was able to get this system around the $1000 mark due to the 12900k bundle that Micro Center offered. I didn't include an ssd in the parts list because I pulled it from my laptop. If I could go back and change one thing I would have gotten a bigger power supply for future upgrades. Let me know what you think about this build or what you would have changed!$964.88 -

This PC was built to replace my 3060m laptop, which was mostly used for 3d game dev in ue5 and everyday use. It performs much better than the 3060m laptop, usually performance is quite literally twice as fast as the 3060m + 11700H or whatever the letters are.$1,071.37 -

I want to add some rgb fans in the future so for now it's a no rgb PC.$1,179.92 -

I was running a 9 year old Lenovo i7 4770 build and it was starting to lag just viewing raw photos from my dslr. So, that started the process of building another pc that would be a major upgrade for photoshop and last another 8-10 years. This build uses the i7 13700k along with 32 gb of DDR5 ram for “future proofing.” A 1Tb WD black m.2 drive makes sure I can access everything fast. I had an unopened Corsair H100i laying around so running cool is virtually guaranteed. A bronze 750w power supply makes sure the RTX 4060 Ti stays happy along with the rest of the system. The three led pwm fans included with the glass sided case really tops it off. With microcenter’s bundle deals, this was incredibly affordable and a perfect system for me to get the job done.$1,332.93 -

There's been enough tech progression and there were some great sales this year that I was able to put this together for a great price. It's definitely a big upgrade, newer games look a lot prettier than my old rig, the rig itself looks way prettier sitting on my desk too.$1,354.94 -

The first picture shows the outside, right after I built it. The second picture shows the inside, after I switched out the power cables for the GPU to make it cleaner. It's a pretty normal built, I guess. The graphics card is huge and heavy. I made sure that I had the bracket as I installed the card. So, it is supported since day one. Since I built my last PC 15 years ago, I invested quite some time to research the components and plan this built in every detail. The built was easy.$1,393.92 -

I saved tons by buying RAM, cooling, and CPU used online. I also managed to find an Aorus Master for $110, which was a steal, even though it doesn’t have CPU OCing. I didn’t want to go too crazy with RGB, but when you keep your lighting at white, blue, and purple, it looks pretty slick, and not like something a 10-year-old drew. I haven’t gotten three of the fans yet, but my temps are honestly doing just fine without them, and I love the NZXT cooling, because it keeps my temps low without being too loud. I’ve been using this for CAD, some 4K gaming at relatively high settings(the GPU is doing fine), programming(hence the i9 and 32GB of RAM), and work/online school. No problems, except that I was considering going for the pricier 6950(which is $200 more expensive, but has 150% the performance of the 6750), and I might eventually upgrade my GPU. Also, the SSD is the slowest m.2 SSD on the market, but it’s still faster than most HDDs, and it was $30. If I were to do it again, I would go for a Samsung SSD for maybe $60, with much better performance. I don’t mind the SSD too much, though.$1,397.91 -

I switched back from a gaming laptop to a desktop. I previously had a aero 5 xe4. I prefer the upgradeability and future proofing. I mostly game but Ive made a few videos and music and some 3d model editing and want to create more. Our channel is "Co-Op Couple" on YouTube and coopcouple_lxs on tik tok. Games I play are cod, GTA, virtual reality, vrchat, Roblox, Pavlov, valheim, Minecraft, Forza, Bethesda games, dark and darker, ect. My future upgrades could be extra storage and maybe 3 rgb front fans, some keycaps a wrist rest and possibly a small screen for inside the case. I wouldn't have done anything I've done differently I like the build alot. The parts are Case corsair 4000D Z690 MSI motherboard I9 12900k cpu Frozen Notte 240 aio Gigabyte Rx7800xt 32gb ddr5 6000mhz ram 1tb 980 pro m.2 for os and apps 2tb sp a80 for games 1tb 2.5" patriot ssd for extras Thermal take psu Most but not all parts where from micro enter, I got some parts from Amazon to make the build as low cost as possible.$1,447.93 -
