Build Description

So I been building & messing around with computers since high-school, overall been amazed by them & thought they're so cool. So over the years of having a home pre-built stock pc, I took it upon myself to start opening them and looking at the insides of what makes it. Then my freshmen year in hs I actually took 1 of them apart & customized the case by drawing cut shapes and having my father cut & paint it then I would install those tube neon lights inside the case & stuck a piece of arcylic behind the door so the cut out pieces weren't open. That's where it all began, after seeing that outcome of that I knew I loved it and always wanted to build my own 1 day. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the pc because I didn't think to take a photo of it sadly but I remember it very clearly. It was a tall case with 3 cut triangles on 1 side with a fan in the middle of them. The paint was all dark blue with black speckles all over, it was my favorite case. Anyways when I was working I kinda got lost from computers and got into sneakers therefore I was spending pay checks on sneakers instead of pc parts. I would always play world of warcraft on the pc whenever it would run cause the pc wasn't top tier to spec it was still stock in the inside just fancy on the outside. After the fact I got out of pc & switched to sneakers I obviously stopped playing pc because I would work & school. After those 5 years at bestbuy my friend & brother asked if I wanted to play world of warcraft again & I said yeah sure. So I would play on this dell laptop my mom got me for school & to be honest it ran really well & to this day I still have that dell laptop & it still runs amazing. The laptop isn't that old prolly 3years or so. Then I was like I need to build a desktop, I always wanted the alienware area 51 alx desktop but couldn't afford 1 brand new so I recently purchase 1 on ebay for $200 used and with a bit of damage. I was always looking at alienware pics because I thought they were so cool but just over priced for me. So when it arrived in a large box that weighted like 90 pounds I was star strucked when I opened it. It was like a dream come true. Then over time I gamed on that then sold the internals of it and purchased everything else that makes a pc besides the case, brand new. After that happened I had a daughter then moved in with my girlfriend but couldn't bring the pc over because it was too huge so I was forced to leave it at my parents house. Eventually I was able to convince her to bring it over if I put it into a smaller case, so I put it in 1 of those open cases because just a stand that holds all the components together. Then time passes & I put it in a lian li o11 dynamic razer edition case but it has to sit on a chair so it not taking up space. I had to customize the doors for this case because I have a noctua cooler which is huge & the glass doors wouldn't clear them so I brought 2 sheets of black tinted arcylic & cut them to shape & took the bracket off the glass door & slap them on the arcylic doors with a hole cut where it wasn't clearing & now fits. So here's my pc that was a mission to complete but finally is done for now. For updates in the future, I am currently now looking for a new motherboard to update the msi board I have cause for me it makes the build look kinda cheap lol but it works great & the board has been good to me. But I do wanna upgrade that to a Asus rog maximus xi formula z390 board because I want the usb c front panel to work on the case & I want built in wifi instead of having that extra card for wifi.

Favorite Feature

Something I love the most about the case is the tinted black arcylic doors, when the pc is off it hides the components inside the pc then when it's turned on you see everything, just like that overpriced lian li mirror case that is sold out everywhere lol. Also love the fact that I made those cuts handmade by myself without cutting my fingers off, so that's a plus. I also attached photos of the alienware case I have saved for when I get my own place then it'll come out of the lian li case & into that alienware case, the alienware is gutted out atm. Also added pics of the open case I had it in for a while when I was able to bring the pc over to my girls house. Which sucked cause it got dusty so fast!! Looks nice but never again will I have another open air case.
