Foudroyant
by Alex A Posted on: 12/2/2020Build Description
I built this beaut primarily for gaming but also for schoolwork. I wanted to create a subtle yet attractive build that catches the observer's attention while not having the in-your-face "gamer aesthetics." The only RGB in my build is on the RAM, which is just the right amount for my design philosophy. The one thing lacking and bottlenecking my build, as I recently installed an Intel i9-9900k, is the GPU. I am still rocking a GTX 970 from my first build in 2016. It is hooked up to two 1440p 144Hz monitors. It has served me well throughout the years; however, even with an aggressive overclock, it is evident that an upgrade is far overdue. I am currently waiting to upgrade to an RTX 3070 as soon as they become available again. I enjoy playing games such as Call of Duty, NBA 2k, Detroit: Become Human, Forza and look forward to playing Cyberpunk 2077.
Favorite Feature
My favorite mod is the power button I installed under my desk, which makes it feel like I'm hitting a panic button every time I start up my PC.
