Our first build together!

My 12 year old son and I built our first computer together. We researched parts for 2 months and built everything over Memorial day weekend. We took advantage of Microcenter's great prices (and price matching) for half of the items. The goal is that this will be a computer that will last him through high school. He's interested in gaming and programming. We made sure that there are options for him to expand in the future (dedicated GPU, more memory, etc). It was a great experience to learn how all the parts of a computer come together!
