Build Description
This was my first full custom build at the height of the pandemic.
Firsts:
- Liquid Cooling
- Custom PSU Cables
- Custom Paint Job
I built this machine to handle everything I could throw at it, all the while streaming without a 2 PC setup.
This computer dabbles in a little bit of everything in my daily life. FPS, Creative games like Satisfactory, VR, Multi-camera tabletop gaming setups, 3D print design, etc.
I'm pretty happy with everything I've put into this to suit my needs, so upgrade are minimal.
- Complete cable management on backside, all the necessary extensions are sitting in a box, just need the motivation to re-wire everything
- Troubleshoot LED lighting, it's such a pain to get everything dialed in, and the EKWB Hub is a little ball of constant issues
- Upgrade NVME storage to take full advance of read/write speeds

Favorite Feature
Painting various parts might have been the most fun I had. I really spent the time doing the paintjob, finding marketing resources and fonts so I could recreate the logos with a vinyl cutterPainted:

I had some trouble getting the paint to not chip where is contacts a screw, but minimal damage to the paintjob throughout the install.
I'm not sure I would do custom PSU cables by hand again. I would happily do PSU extensions, but the pin out diagrams were so confusing. I ended up taking the stock PSU cables apart and following their pinout 1 by 1 for it to make sense in the end.
The paint job was my favorite part of this build. I've been wanting to do an all white build for a long time, you can throw anything into the loop and it all looks good.
