Build Description
Upgraded my personal workstation to 12th gen, with every other component being brought up to spec. The i9-12900K is pushed to 5.2GHz on its P-cores, 64GB of Trident Z RGB is overclocked to 3733MHz CL16, and 14TB of NVME storage (2TB Samsung 980 Pro, 4TB Inland Premium, 4TB Inland Performance Plus, 4TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus). Primary use cases are playing CS:GO and editing in Premiere and Photoshop.
Favorite Feature
The Fractal Torrent was perfect for running the new 420mm Corsair H170i AIO in push-pull while giving the 3090 Suprim X direct bottom intake. The cooler handles a sustained 260w CPU heat load without breaking 90c (not CLC levels but a solid improvement from my old Galahad 360). The stock Fractal case fans have even higher CFM and static pressure than the ones Corsair give you, so they're in push-pull with a few SP140's.
