Description: This article will show how to check if your running processes are safe in ESET Version 9.

1. Open ESET by selecting the ESET icon from the Windows system tray. You may need to expand the arrow to show hidden icons first.
   
2. Choose Tools from the ESET Home Screen, and then choose Running Processes.
   
3. The column on the left side will show the status of each program. The item showing an exclamation point is Unknown. This does not mean that this program is harmful, but that you should be aware of what this program is or look into it further.
