How to set Internet Explorer to reopen the Last Browsing Session
Description: This article will show how to set Internet Explorer to reopen the last browsing session the next time you return to the browser.
- From the desktop in the search or run bar, type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
- Navigate to Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and open the Internet Explorer folder.
- Scroll down the right pane and open Turn off Reopen Last Browser Session.
- If Enabled the user will not be able to reopen the last Internet Explorer page that was being used at the time Internet Explorer shut down.
- If Disabled, the user can reopen the last Internet Explorer page that was in use before it shut down.
- Select the desired option by clicking the radio button on this setting page and then click Apply and then OK.
- Close the Local gpedit Window.
