Description: This is a how-to article for adding or removing operating system features in Windows 8.

1. Start by going to the Control Panel. Activate the Charms by moving the mouse to the bottom right corner of the screen or by pressing the Windows Key + C on the keyboard.
   
2. Select the Settings gear, then click Control Panel.
   
3. Click on Programs.
   
4. Click on Turn Windows features on or off.
   
5. To Add a feature, check the box next to the feature and click OK.
6. To Remove a feature, uncheck the box and click OK.
