Description: This article describes how to insert slide numbers in PowerPoint 2010.

1. To insert slide numbers in PowerPoint 2010, click the Insert tab.

2. Click on the Header & Footer button.

3. A dialog box will appear. Check the Slide number box.

4. Click Apply to apply slide numbers only to the current slide. Click Apply to All to apply slide numbers to all slides in the presentation.

5. Slide numbers are now present.
