Description: This guide will give the steps to disable an Add-on in Internet Explorer 9. This can be useful to disable unwanted features in Internet Explorer, such as search toolbars.

1. Click the Tools icon in the upper right corner of Internet Explorer 9.

2. Click Manage add-ons.

3. Find the add-on that needs to be disabled and select it by clicking on it.
4. Click Disable to disable the selected add-on.
   
5. To enable an add-on that has been disabled, follow steps 1 through 3 of this guide, and click Enable.
