How to identify the Version of Mac OS X on your Mac OS Computer
Description: This article describes the processes of identifying the version of Mac OS X currently installed on your Mac OS computer.
- Click the Apple Icon at the top left of the Finder Bar on Your Computer.
- Click About This Mac.
- The Currently Installed Version of Mac OS X will be displayed beneath the Mac OS X Text in the "About This Mac" Window that appears.
- Refer to the following Table to match the Version Number to the Release Name:
