Programs pre-installed on the computer are chosen by the manufacturer when the computer is built. Some programs may be licensed full versions of software, while some others may be free trial versions. Most of these programs are optional and can be uninstalled through Programs (or Apps) and Features if desired. Be sure to understand the purpose of a particular pre-installed program or utility before uninstalling it from your system.
