First, update the drivers for your graphics card. For AMD based graphics cards, drivers can be found at http://support.amd.com/en-us/download. For NVIDIA based graphics cards, drivers can be found at http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx. Another thing to try would be testing a different video cable (such as HDMI, DisplayPort etc.) to see if that makes any change.
