Riftbound: Vendetta Launches at Micro Center
Riftbound is back for its fourth set, Vendetta, this time focusing on rivalries. Friends, enemies, and family members will all clash on the tabletop. And, to help underscore this theme of rivalry, the set introduces Decrees to specifically attack opposite domains. But it’s not just about rivalries, as Vendetta also introduces some new ways to play with your Trash.

First, let’s dig into the mechanics around your Trash pile. Flow lets you play cards from your trash for their Flow cost, letting you get more use out of a single spell. Burn, meanwhile, moves cards from the top of your deck directly to the trash, buffing some cards and impacting others. The final mechanic is Empower. It doesn’t deal with the trash at all; instead, these cards have a second cost that can be activated on a later turn to gain new abilities and bonuses.
Also new to this set are two(ish) new card types. Unit-Gear is a new card type that counts for, as the name would imply, both a gear and a unit. Decrees are, by Riftbounds own admission, not exactly a new card type -- they’re still a spell -- but they do have a specific impact on cards of the opposite domain color. Check out the Vendetta visual gallery for all the upcoming cards and mechanics.
We have a ton of Riftbound products currently available at Micro Center as well, if you want to start your collection ahead of Vendetta’s launch, like sleeved boosters and Origins Champion Decks. We’ll have plenty of Vendetta on launch day, like Booster Display boxes and the Vendetta Vault.
Riftbound: Vendetta is now available at your local Micro Center. And don’t forget to pick up accessories to go with your new card collection, like deck boxes and sleeves.
