Alienware's new CES 2024 OLED Gaming Monitors
The QD-OLED technology used here is a flavor of OLED that adds Quantum Dot technology, and hits at least 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen resolution on the 32-inch is 3,840x2,160 and it has a 240Hz refresh rate, which is especially important for gamers. An HDR screen, it supports both Dolby Vision HDR and VESA DisplayHDR for bright highlights and deep blacks. It's an Nvidia G-Sync monitor as well.
Console Compatibility
Of course, you might want to use a big curved 32-inch high-res display for more than just your desktop or laptop. Dell keeps this in mind, including additional inputs on the monitor specifically designed for game consoles like the PS5 or Xbox Series X. Using HDMI 2.1, game consoles can use the screen at up to 120Hz VRR and 4K resolution. The dedicated console mode also supports low-latency performance and eARC compatibility for controlling Dolby Atmos speakers and soundbars.
Also Available in a 27-inch Version
But if a curved 32-inch display is too big for your desk, there's also a smaller 27-inch version. This model is a flat screen, not curved, but adds an even higher refresh rate of up to 360Hz, with a 0.03ms response time. It's specifically targeted at competitive twitch-based competitive gamers who need the highest refresh rate possible.
This one, called the Alienware 27 360Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor, adds AMD FreeSync support and carries over the VESA DisplayHDR from the bigger version.
