See the Newest Alienware Accessories: Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse and Gaming Keyboard
At CES 2024, Dell's Alienware brand has some new gaming accessories, and they're built around the idea of being as flexible as possible. The Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse is symmetrical, to work with different grip types and hand sizes, while the Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Keyboard is a 75-percent size model, saving space while keeping the keys and features you need.
Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse
The new mouse was designed with features geared for competitive gaming. It supports up to 4KHz (wireless) and 8KHz (wired) polling rates and a 26,000 DPI sensor. Battery life is notable, too, with up to 120 hours at the 1KHz polling rate, addressing the issue of longevity during extended gaming sessions.
This gaming mouse was developed with input from esports professionals, resulting in a lightweight design of under 60 grams. It's not just about weight; the mouse integrates Alienware's Magnetic-Force Keyplates with optical switches, enhancing durability and responsiveness.
Quick charging capabilities are also noteworthy – a five-minute charge yields six hours of gameplay. Additionally, the mouse is made with 82% post-consumer recycled plastic, which we always like to see.
Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Keyboard
The 75-percent size design of this new keyboard makes it a space-efficient choice, without sacrificing essential functionality. The custom Alienware linear mechanical switches have a light actuation at 40g, and promise a lifespan of 100 million keystrokes.
The compact design is paired with transparent switch housing for enhanced RGB lighting effects and features two silicone sound dampening layers for a quieter typing experience. Battery performance is also excellent, offering up to 72 hours with standard lighting and up to a whopping 798 hours with RGB lighting turned off.
The Pro Wireless Gaming Keyboard supports 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB-C wired connections, and hot-swappable switches allow for fast customization. As with other Alienware gear, more options are available in the Alienware Command Center software.
The Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse and Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Keyboard will both be available starting January 11, starting at $149 for the mouse and $199 for the keyboard.
