We currently perform out-of-warranty repairs on Microsoft laptops. However, we do not offer repairs for Surface tablets at this time.

We strive to provide diagnostic results as soon as possible, typically within 24 hours. Once the diagnosis is complete, we will provide an accurate quote for the cost and estimated repair time.

We source most parts from reputable suppliers, such as iFixit, which provides genuine Microsoft parts with quick shipping, typically within 1-2 days.
What is the warranty on repairs performed by Micro Center?
Our standard repair warranty includes a 1-year warranty on replacement parts and a 90-day warranty on labor. Specifically:
Limited Warranty: Micro Center warrants that all replacement parts used will be free from defects in material or workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase if your device is not covered under a manufacturer’s warranty or an extended service plan. Micro Center will repair or replace, at its option, parts found to be defective during that time period. If your device is covered under a manufacturer’s warranty or an extended service plan, the terms of such manufacturer’s warranty or extended service plan shall control and will vary by part, manufacturer, and extended service plan. Repair and installation labor is warranted for 90 days from the date of purchase and is limited to a redo of the original work. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, OTHER THAN THE WARRANTY OF TITLE, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so any such limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
