Lastly I help Mod a couple of friends streams on Twitch and Youtube.$4,429.92 -

I've been piecing this build together a bit at a time for the last six months. I mainly kept an eye out for components that would be a significant upgrade over my 11900K / 3070 Ti desktop build. Shoutout to the employees at my local microcenter who take time to hunt down the random clearance items I order. Everything but the AIO cooler and the ssd storage devices were bought at microcenter. Currently on the 13700k, I have all P cores overclocked to 5.8 with all E cores at 4.4 with vcore set to 1.35 and medium LLC. My ddr5 is modestly overclocked from 6000 to 6400 for the time being. I need to re-learn how to overclock ram because a lot of bios settings have become more complex since ddr3-ddr4 days. From what I understand, Hynix A die modules should be able to overclock significantly higher frequencies - I just need to learn how to pull that off.$1,624.25 -

I built this for gaming and needed a case that had sufficient airflow for all my components and a glass side panel to show it all off. I did splurge a bit on the CPU AIO Cooler as I wanted a screen to display the temperatures and GIFs if I wanted to from time to time. Mainly using this to play my huge backlog of games on Steam and Epic game launchers. I do plan to use this computer for doing some 3d printing stuff in the future but trying to find a 3D printer to meet my needs.$1,230.00 -

Mainly stuck with all ASUS components with the exception of the GPU as I really like the EVGA aesthetics for the 3090. I could have easily went with a Asus Strix 3090. I mainly play FFXIV and this build is able to handle that and most of the other games I play on it. I am using a 27" 4k OLED monitor and everything looks great.$2,234.95 -

I wanted to be a good all around PC with an emphasize on gaming. I've been a console guy, but I've been wanting to play some PC only games like BeamNG, Civ, City Skylines, Terraria, and trying my hand with iRacing. I have also rediscovered Minecraft since my only experience with it was on integrated graphics. In the future, I might get some RBG lights for the interior of the case since it is a bit dark and I want to show off the internal components. In hindsight, I wouldn't have built this computer at 2 in the morning before traveling for thanksgiving.$1,099.96 -

I built this over the course of 5 months finding parts on sale. Performance-wise, this handles 4K 120Hz on everything I've thrown at it. Only times I scale back quality in games is if the GPU kicks up its coil whine a bit too much. Really stable FPS and benchmarking. Solid machine that should last years at High-Ultra in games. Mixed with 24GB VRAM being a productivity monster. Happy with the end result but I would have done a few things differently. An i7-14700K would have been a nice upgrade, but unnecessary for my use case. A bigger change would be opting for 2x32GB of RAM and/or slightly higher-spec'ed RAM (like 6000 CL30 or 6400 CL32). Aesthetically, I'm really happy with how the silver CPU cooler and tan Noctua fans look through the mesh side panel. If everything was black, you wouldn't notice any components inside and the silver+tan give it a subtle "pop" of character. But, if you're more into RGB than I am than going black on all components will be a nicer look and let your RGB shine.$2,929.90 -

I was coming from a full tower with a 5950x with 128gb of Ram and wanted to go to a newer platform. Going to 3D print some legs just to raise it a bit for the bottom fan to me more useful. I have a 3080 in this build but will be changing to a 4080 ProArt one they are available. I also added 3 Noctua NF-A12x15. 2 at the bottom for and 1 at the top near the psu, all on exhaust.$2,922.67 -

I spent a lot of time researching how to build a PC and watched tons of YouTube videos. Fortunately, everything paid off. I got my first gaming PC that I built myself! It is running great so far. RTX 4080 GPU is a beast. It can run God of War at ultra graphic and still maintain 130+ FPS. I haven't tried other games, but it will probably do well! I didn't expect the GPU to be this chunky, so I didn't buy a riser. I am currently plugging in my RTX 4080 GPU straight into the MB's PCIE port. I am planning to get a GPU riser so it won't stress the PCIE port.$2,629.92 -

After graduating from school and getting a real job, I knew I needed to get the best gaming setup I could buy to reward myself. I haven't paid too much attention to the PC market since my senior year in high school. The last time I built a PC, I went with a Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1080 setup, so you know how out of touch I am now. But I know 4090 GPU is a must for my build. As for the CPU, the i9 seemed too excessive for gaming purposes, so I went with the i7 13700k. I am glad both worked well together in my build.$3,298.93 -
