Build Description
I wanted something quiet and with no RGB stuff. I had a computer years ago with a lot of RGB and I came to hate all that glowing stuff. This was my first build so I spent a lot of time comparing parts. I probably could have gone with something a bit cheaper but I’m happy with how it turned out.
Favorite Feature
The build went pretty easily even though it was my first time. The hardest part for me was cross referencing where all the front panel and fan connectors go. I had one terrifying moment where after putting the GPU into the PCIE slot I dropped a back panel screw into the GPU. I needed to take the GPU out to get the screw out but didn’t realize that the PCIE had a plastic tab to lock it in place. I ended up pulling the plastic tab off the PCIE slot. For a second I thought I’d broken my motherboard or GPU, but in the end it slotted back in fine and all the tests have been good.
