The exact reasoning behind this build is because of the hardline builds I see in Microcenter on display. I've always loved the look of a hardline water-cooled system and I decided it's now or never and to overcome my fear of messing up a project like this.$5,113.93 -

I had an older desktop that ran an i5 and the GTX1060 with a standard monitor. With this build, I wanted to upgrade more on the internal parts as well as my monitor to give myself a great computer that would run everything I needed. However, I did not upgrade the CPU to a high-end processor or the video card as I built it around a budget as well as what would satisfy my needs. However, my upgrade itch did cause me to expand from one regular monitor to three 27” MSI curved gaming monitors. In addition, since it was a gaming machine, I wanted to add some flair with RGB, so I did incorporate that into the build. Currently, I am using it to play World of Warcraft, Skyrim, PUBG and Star Citizen (Beta). So far, this machine has run everything I have thrown at it and has met every expectation I wanted.$3,678.98 -

I custom made the desk with ikea accessories to fit what I was looking for and added a slot beneath to hold my macbooks and accessories. The angled speakers are being held by pipe fittings and are connected to each computer via the built in mixer. Also, I upgraded to a Lian Li Mesh 2 case to allow the proper airflow to the 3080FE. I mostly use the pc to play squadrons VR using the oculus quest 2 and my son streams fortnite on his gamers facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/chuysgaming I use a mac mostly for music production with a thunderbolt dock to help connect all my peripherals. There's an outdoor TPlink access point (see picture through window) to give wifi access to the grill tv and cameras surrounding the house. Both monitors are hooked as a 2nd input to either the mac or pc to allow the extended desktop on whichever application I'm using. The one of the left is a 4k LG (mostly for the macbook) and the right monitor is an Asus VG27AQ running at 1440p 165hz. I'm always looking for better ways to upgrade the whole setup including the streaming parts of it. The portable green screen from elgato is also pictured on the corner. It's so easy to put away after each use. Most of these parts were found at my local Micro Center (St. Louis Park in Minnesota) which is 2 hours from where I live but well worth the drive as other retailers haven't had them in stock for months. The only thing I'm missing is a good comfortable gaming chair. Thank you Micro Center for looking out for us customers and I hope you guys like it.$3,084.94 -

My son, Chuy, was an avid PS4 fortnite player until I proved him wrong that PC's are way better at gaming. We made a bet that if I built a "Gaming PC Rig" it would beat his PS4 loading times and have a higher resolution (1440p of course). Sure enough he's addicted to his new PC while the PS4 is now collecting dust. This was our first computer build together and could not find a better excuse than to drive to our closest Micro Center (2 hours away) to buy part by part. We have put a lot of work into it and cannot wait to upgrade to a 3080. PS5 my a**.$2,981.79 -

Built this gaming PC for my girlfriend who loves playing games like the Tomb Raider series and a number of VR titles. I also have a tech channel on youtube where I cover most of my builds including this one! here's a video on it if you'd like to check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vPNyXhldzc Right now it's running a GTX 1070 but that was also recently swapped to a 2070 super which is much more suitable for this build in my opinion. Next step is to put a waterblock on it and add it to the loop! it can also be found on Builds.gg: https://builds.gg/builds/peachy-26506$2,531.92 -

I built this PC mainly for gaming and general purpose uses to replace my Haswell system that died around 2019. Unfortunately, I was not knowledgeable in computer hardware back in the day and in hindsight I might have gone with some higher end specs in various pieces of hardware that I ended up replacing in the last two years or so.$2,304.90 -

I initially planned to upgrade an old HP Compaq for gaming and to use graphic design software. I intend to play Overwatch, Halo, Kingdom Hearts, Splitgate and more. For graphic art I'm mainly interested in digitizing embroidery files and want to make stickers and pins. After getting some help, I realized it would probably be better to build from scratch. I would have loved to keep my original case since I painted it pink and cut out a Jigglypuff silhouette but the CPU cooler and graphics card were too wide to fit. I do like the sleeker look of the new case but in hindsight I should have waited until I had the parts before customizing the case. I did go back to the store a week after building the PC to get more RAM more for cosmetic reasons than needing an extra 16gb. It took about 5 hours to build because I would rearrange how the things were and connecting the rgb cables was a bit confusing. Cable management wasn't too difficult but involved a lot of reworking how I initially connected everything. Next time I'll work on Cable management as I'm building. In general, I should have done more research before starting the build process because it would not turn on when I had finished. I realized one of the power cables was not fully plugged in after checking the cables for everything else first. In the end, it was a fun project and I inspired my boyfriend to want to build a gaming PC for himself.$2,003.91 -

I built it this summer to do some gaming and help with my online classes. I mostly play eSport and AAA titles such as CSGO, R6:Siege, GTAV, Borderlands, Gears of War, and COD. The 2060 Super/Ryzen 3600 combo is amazing and runs almost any game at 1080p High settings with no problem and performs well at 1440p. I think it should be an amazing PC for the next few years but I may look to upgrade the storage down the line. Currently I only have a Seagate 2TB HDD and a 256GB Inland Premium M.2 SSD so I will probably add another 2TB HDD or a 1TB Samsung 2.5in SSD. I may also look to upgrade the AIO. The white H100i fits the color scheme amazingly but I really like the look of the LCD display on the NZXT Z63. I also might buy two more Corsair LL120 RGB fans to replace the stock NZXT fans I currently have mounted on the radiator.$1,883.87 -

I saved up enough money from my summer job for a pc for gaming and everyday use. I play games like COD, Warzone, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Sea of Thieves. I went for a build that was powerful enough to handle all my games with ease and future proof the PC for a bit. I tried not to overkill it with the components. Some future upgrades would be maybe adding some more storage as games like warzone take up a ton of storage, and maybe add some cable extensions for an even cleaner look.$1,759.91
