Firsts: - Liquid Cooling - Custom PSU Cables - Custom Paint Job I built this machine to handle everything I could throw at it, all the while streaming without a 2 PC setup. This computer dabbles in a little bit of everything in my daily life. FPS, Creative games like Satisfactory, VR, Multi-camera tabletop gaming setups, 3D print design, etc. I'm pretty happy with everything I've put into this to suit my needs, so upgrade are minimal. - Complete cable management on backside, all the necessary extensions are sitting in a box, just need the motivation to re-wire everything - Troubleshoot LED lighting, it's such a pain to get everything dialed in, and the EKWB Hub is a little ball of constant issues - Upgrade NVME storage to take full advance of read/write speeds$6,934.75 -

This build is primarily built for gaming, such as playing CyberPunk 2077, GTA V, Forza Motorsport Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, Death Loop, and others. I don't play online much as I have always preferred playing offline at my own pace. I'm a diehard campaign guy. When I'm not gaming on this its lots of surfing the internet and streaming videos on YouTube. I am not a streamer on Twitch or anything though I am contemplating doing so in the future. Would buy the Elgato face camera. With a rig like this why not take advantage of it? Case is built in the Corsair 5000D airflow in white along with black computer parts. Always loved Corsairs computer cases and this one caught my eye right away once I started seeing advertisements for it on YouTube. I have always been a fan of the black parts on white case contrast vs the "whiteout" or "blackout" builds everyone else seems to be doing. The fans I chose to use are the new Lian Li UNI AL120mm fans, which are AWESOME. Every other manufacture needs to create daisy chain-able fans like this. Game changer for cable management. I did decide to take advantage of the extra side fans the 5000d airflow allows you to use, bringing my total number of fans to 10. This is more of an experiment by me as I'm honestly not sure how much they will truly help my thermals. Will probably keep them just for the look more than anything. Makes the case seem much more full. I am never settled with my rig and am always tweaking it (currently talking myself out of Intel 12th gen as my CPU still is awesome). The next change I see myself doing is getting some custom power supply cables from Cable Mod to really give this build a professional look. Haven't pulled the trigger yet though.$5,580.93 -

This is my PC setup which I have gradually upgraded over the years with a mix of old and new components. There is some jank involved in my setup as I had to use Lego to hold a monitor in place and to have a webcam that I could use without blocking parts of my main monitor screen as it has thin bezels. My "Valtiel" desktop, named after the creepy Silent Hill 3 creature, was designed to give me mid to high-end gaming performance at at least 4K 60FPS. I play a lot of horror and singleplayer games, so I needed enough flexibility to update and modify classic games for play on my TV so that they look as good as possible, and to also push today's latest games to the max so I can enjoy enhanced realism and immersion thanks to new gaming features such as ray-tracing. I like to comfortably play most games from the couch on my 4K LG OLED TV + surround sound setup, so power, connectivity, and bleeding edge tech was what I was looking for. I wanted my PC to look sophisticated but still have some understated flair. The Tomahawk chassis has a clean, square profile, and the RGB gives it a little ominous oomph. No flashing, just a nice vibe. The newly added EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming GPU helps me achieve my fidelity and performance goals.$4,380.96 -

I was so fortunate that not only was a 5900X available to me on Zen3 launch day, but a shipment of 3080 FTW3s were also in stock as well. The build pulls double duty for gaming and as an audio recording/production workstation for my various projects. I tend to play FPS like Battlefield and Overwatch, city builders like Cities Skylines, as well as open world RPGs like Fallout, and of course, this was built in preparation for Cyberpunk 2077. On the audio side, I've never had a faster workflow as I do with this machine. It breezes through multi track audio rendering in Reaper with tons of VSTs open. Flipping from one 32GB Superior Drummer 3 preset to another takes ages on my laptop, but this can do it in 7-8 seconds. The only upgrade I'm looking at for the moment is just a nice set of cable extensions to clean up the look some more, and perhaps the Strix Ryujin aio if I want to push my 5900X further.$4,224.75 -

I fly drones and film in 4k 120fps so i need a PC capable of heavy editing, hence the 5900x cpu and the 64gb ram. PC never lags on Adobe Premiere Pro which used to be a problem on my i7 9700. Also need a good GPU for that and I love gaming so i got a 3080 RTX hooked up to a 4k 144hz monitor. Can push most modern games to 120fps and if game is a few years old such as Prey ill easily hit 144fps on 4k ultra. Mainly play Darktide, COD MW2, microsoft flight sim, and cyberpunk. I'm overclocking getting 110-120fps in 4k high on the new COD MW2. Between all the games and the massive 4k HDR video files I need lots storage so i have a grand total of 6.5TB. All SSD storage, 1.5GB on NVMe SSDs and the remaining 4GB are on SATA SSDs. I sourced the large majority of parts from Microcenter Houston. I even got there a few hours before open and stood in line 3 times before scoring the 3080, i got it 2 months after i came out. Microcenter doesn't carry EVGA mobo so that's one of the only parts i didn't get there. My cpu is liquid cooled by corsair h100i elite AOI and all 8 fans are corsair magnetic levitation ML120 pros, some RGB some not. This way ill never have to worry about the ball bearings wearing out, squeaky fans are the worst. My oldest m120 fan has been through my last 3 builds and works just as well today as it did when i got it. Will probably keep this build the way it is till EVGA gets back in the GPU game. One of the reasons i got the amd 5900x cpu was to future proof this for next gen GPUs.$4,044.74 -

I'm mainly a developer, database guy, and system's engineer, so I need many screens, but capability to do compiling, querying and more. Visual Studio, Azure, SQL, and Teams are strewn across the display most hours. I have always had issues when trying to game with "surround", so I've made my main display a 4K TV (LG CX 48"), which can be the main gaming screen, with 2 Dell's in portrait mode for Teams and Email. I don't game enough, but when I do this thing is terrific. Cooling has been a steady problem. I've used the EKWB RGB Kit, and the pump seems to have a very, very slow leak. Dye is on the connector but no visible drips. Took the pump apart and cannot find the source. I'd like to go with hard tubing, but the pump does not sit well in the Cosmos II case (I'm bracketed to the HD cages and that's flimsy). I'm looking though to move to the Ryzen 4 platform for future growth.$3,775.85 -

Having never built a PC in my life, I was originally going to buy a pre-built machine. However, when I got my hands on the RTX 3080, with a very reasonable price, I made my decision to take a stab at it. After looking at various YouTube videos and asking bunch of questions to my cousin and friend, I felt pretty confident to build it on my own. This PC is going to be mainly used for Video editing and Photo editing. I will, however, play some games on it. I mean I might as well with the 3080! The applications that I will be using for Video and Photo are Davince Resolve, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. If my workload gets more intensive, I will probably upgrade my cooling system. Also, I may get some stink eyes with the vertical GPU mount, however with this case and the airflow setup, the GPU actually stays about 5C cooler!$3,771.44 -

TIME TO JACK IN I haven't built an all-new rig in 8-10 years, so it was time to pull out all the stops. I wanted: (1) top-tier gaming performance, (2) super quiet cooling (I game on speakers), and (3) small enough to fit in a carry-on case to go to QuakeCon! So, I decided to do a small form-factor build with a custom cooling loop for both CPU and GPU. I've never done SFF nor water cooling before, so ACTIVATE HARD MODE! Finally decided to make myself a high end gaming machine after spending most of my life with mid/low tier machines that would upgraded over time. Been cozy with console since the Atari, but over the decades, I have amassed a LOT of physical game media. From consoles, to cartridges, to disks, to peripherals. I went mostly digital for the Xbox one and PS4, but even then I got tired of gathering consoles. So when it was time to choose between the Xbox Series X or PS5, I decided to break away from consoles and build my PC. I focus on rich cinematic gaming. I mostly play single player Action, Adventure, and RPG. Some recent games are Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Control, DayZ Gone, Metro Exodus, Dying Light 2, and Ghostwire Tokyo.$3,325.95 -

My original PC was intended to be an extreme budget PC and included a Ryzen APU to use for graphics as well. I wanted to try my hand at watercooling as well with a custom hardline loop. I use this build for everything from playing games like Warzone and The Witcher 3, to rendering CAD models and 3D printing.$3,304.92 -

I built this computer to game, do schoolwork, finish work, and it also functions as a mining machine. These days, I primarily play Valorant, Halo, and Forza. Future upgrades would probably to upgrade the GPU to a 3090 and get rid of the two of the GPUs. Ideally, I would've liked a white GPU and white CPU cooler, but it didn't fit the budget, so these will do for now. I have been using this computer for the past few months this year. I have switched from many GPUs and I gotta say the Strix is my favorite. Its quite, and doesn't get too hot. This applies to the EVGA as well. I also plan to upgrade my cables, as they are the default EVGA cables. I may also have to upgrade my RAM as its making my computer slower.$3,231.91 -

I had originally built a PC with much simpler parts in January 2021 but decided to go all out a few months later after getting a better GPU in the shuffle. I then got a GPU and CPU from the LTT drops. There are some parts not listed but adding them individually would be a long process. I play a DayZ, Modern Warfare, and occasionally CS:GO. I do occasionally stream but not very often.$3,195.91 -

I've always wanted a completely overkill build for what I do, so once I got my hands on everything that's exactly what I did. I use this to play Dead Island, Ghostwire Tokyo, Guilty Gear Strive, Elden Ring, 7 days to die, For Honor, Muck, Monster Hunter World, Deep Rock Galactic, Sea of Thieves, and some emulators. What would I have done differently? I think what I should've done differently is kept all my old parts instead of selling them to make a whole other build. I swap between a Sapphire 6800xt, and the ASUS x Noctua 3080 depending on what I'm playing. Having 14 Thermaltake Riing Quad fans in this almost cost me as much as the case itself, and I probably should've gotten a bit cheaper fans but oh well. But right now I am happy with what I have, it's not the best in cable management, nor is it the heaviest hitter in the rest of the showcase, but it does everything I need it to.$3,184.89 -

While I've made quite a few changes, this is technically the first PC I've ever built (depending on how you look at it), and definitely my first go at custom water cooling. I started putting her together around December 2020, and have been gradually acquiring and swapping out parts. Iteration 1 had no WC, was in the original Meshify C, a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Black, and a GTX 1060 I borrowed from my old Alienware. Since then, I've been lucky enough to get my hands on a 3080, and threw together a custom loop that I'm very proud of given the cramped nature of the case it's in. Unfortunately, the RGB strip in the GPU water block has died on me, so I may be missing a few FPS, as well as the aesthetic I was going for. The games I play most on here are Splitgate and Immortals Fenyx Rising, and Halo Infinite once that comes out. I plan to update the paint on the front panel to be a bit more elaborate soon, similar to what Linus did for his Intel Gamer Days build, and I may paint the MoBo and RAM heatsinks soon as well.$3,182.75 -

After 35 years of choosing PC games based on my machine’s inability to play the latest and greatest, I decided it was time to trade in the “Tank” aka a 2013 Macbook Pro and make an attempt at building my first PC from scratch. You see, like many of you out there, I was sick of playing games at the lowest graphic settings. I had one goal during my design phase, max out Cyberpunk 2077 graphics and gameplay while having plenty of “juice” to spare for future epic games in the next few years to come. I had no vision aesthetically. Heck, I didn’t know if I’d be able to build a working PC at all. I liken my experience and understanding of PC components and their interconnecting functions to my 60 year old non-gaming father joining WoW Vanilla... Completely out of depth. As I began building, troubleshooting, rebuilding, and doing what seemed like endless wire maintenance, I realized my empty chassis was no different than a blank canvas to an artist. That’s when a vision formed and the aesthetic design phase began. After another month of tinkering, my build was complete.$3,152.43 -
