Built this PC because I was guilted by my friends to play Hell Divers II. My wife also needed a PC to do our taxes on every year. The goal was mild future proofing (the GPU is my Bottleneck) and escalated quite a bit from the original build scope thanks to the Ryzen 7 7700x bundle. I am able to play games at 1440 on high settings and 1080 ultra settings at a minimum of 65-80 fps. The original purpose was just to have a racing sim rig. This is the first pc I have even worked on, I assembled/built myself in an afternoon.$1,124.94 -

I want to treat myself to something nice once in a while. This thing rips! It's perfect for gaming and multitasking. I was able to reach the 82nd percentile ranking on userbenchmark out of the box without overclocking. I am wondering what it would rank when I overclock.$3,265.93 -

I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). And for my 2nd piece of advice, enjoy the build expierience you know, have fun.$2,572.91 -

Used mostly to play single person games like Star wars Fallen order/Survivor, Baldurs Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, God of War, Horizon Zero Down, Cyberpunk 2077, etc. Also used for light photo and video editing. This is my 3rd build...usually refresh about every 5 years. Love tinkering with it and tweaking it. Did not set out to build such an ASUS focused rig, but it just ended up that way. LOL. Pretty happy with it so far, but wish I could afford an OLED 4K and a 4090! Also would love to get more in to customizing and liquid custom cooling. Maybe next time.$2,541.00 -

My highschool had a two week course where we could learn and build our own computers, we had a budget of 500$ and the choice to add extra from our own money. This is my first build and I am very happy with how it turned out. Using our budgets, I bought the 400$ bundle at Micro Center that contained, Intel Core i9 12900K, ASUS Prime Z790-V WIFI motherboard, and the G.skill Ripjaw 32 Gb 2 x 16 ram. Additionally, I got a PowerSpec PS 650GSM 650 W power supply, a DeepCool AG400, and a Seagate Laptop Thin 500 GB 7200RPM SATA 6 GB/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Hard Disk Drive. Using my own money, I bought a Inland X1 black case, two Inland TN320 NVMe M.2 storage SSD's, and a Nvidia RTX 3050. I am very thankful I took this course and I am very content with how my PC turned out, it runs most games I play at high to max graphics (I mostly play RTS such as Men of War or Total War games). The total cost of this build was roughly 800$ USD with me paying around 270$ from my own pocket.$1,122.93 -

I saved tons by buying RAM, cooling, and CPU used online. I also managed to find an Aorus Master for $110, which was a steal, even though it doesn’t have CPU OCing. I didn’t want to go too crazy with RGB, but when you keep your lighting at white, blue, and purple, it looks pretty slick, and not like something a 10-year-old drew. I haven’t gotten three of the fans yet, but my temps are honestly doing just fine without them, and I love the NZXT cooling, because it keeps my temps low without being too loud. I’ve been using this for CAD, some 4K gaming at relatively high settings(the GPU is doing fine), programming(hence the i9 and 32GB of RAM), and work/online school. No problems, except that I was considering going for the pricier 6950(which is $200 more expensive, but has 150% the performance of the 6750), and I might eventually upgrade my GPU. Also, the SSD is the slowest m.2 SSD on the market, but it’s still faster than most HDDs, and it was $30. If I were to do it again, I would go for a Samsung SSD for maybe $60, with much better performance. I don’t mind the SSD too much, though.$1,397.91 -

The problem I created is that the rest of my old, 7th gen Intel build ended up being a sever bottleneck to the performance I should have been getting from the 6750 XT. I posted my previous build before saying I would upgrade some parts, but I went ahead and replaced mostly everything. I went from a Ryzen 5 3600 to and Intel 17-12700k. This processor is freaking nuts. Micro had a bundle sale on it with a Z690 Tuf motherboard and ram. Continuing on, I went from an UpHere air cooler to the Lian Ali Galahad. This aio works wonders with this cpu, 75 degrees and high loads, 30 resting. I also went from 6600xt to a 6750xt. For 100 dollars more, it's worth every cent. It just performs so well with games in general. I average 124fps on high settings with 2k res on Hogwarts. I added 16gigs of more Ram for multitasking purposes, it also looks better with all four films filled up. Lastly, I added a mini monitor for temps and whatnot. I generally got it cause it looks cool. It does have high res tho!$1,598.88 -

I absolutely want to go with custom water cooling within the next couple of months but I think before I do I want to change the case to an nzxt H9, this case is a little small for that at the moment. I changed the theme pretty often at first but I think I’ve settled on this one that was inspired by namor from wakanda forever as you can see from the pops. I built this computer to be my main gaming and productivity machine for my time in uni. The goal was to put as much power into as small of a form factor as possible without going crazy on the budget. This is why I chose M-ATX as my platform for this build. It would have been easier to fit something like an NR200 on my desk, however, the shrunken motherboards and psu's were just too expensive compared to their more normal sized counterparts. There are definitely some quirks. For instance, the AIO can only go in the back because there are clearance problems with the GPU, RAM, and VRMs in every other configuration and its only a 120mm because it came from a previous build. Also, the mesh version of this case wasn't out when I got it so the temps get a touch toasty under load. I think the future upgrades are getting 32GB of ram and possibly a new case like the Fracal POP mini which is around the same size but a little more optimized for larger GPUs.$1,323.93 -

I had an aging 9 year old alienware area 51 prebuild that has surprisingly served me well for all this time. I've been waiting to build a new pc for a while and with all the black friday deals I jumped for it. As someone who hangs onto there computer for a while I built this with upgradability in mind. I was really impressed with the socket life of AM4 and hoping to get at least 2 more generations of CPUs for AM5 (Zen6). I realistically see myself upgrading my monitor (1080p 144hz) in the next 1-2 years and will probably upgrade my GPU around the same time. Since I'm still using 1080p and gddr7 coming out at some point in the future on top of the crazy priced new GPU's I thought getting the RX 6750 XT would be a good option for my setup without going too overkill. Whenever AM5 hits end of life I see myself upgrading my CPU again like how people right now are dropping in Zen 3 into there older builds.$1,328.94 -

This is my first PC build and I am very proud. it is a very humble build but it is more than enough power to run the games that I currently play. I am very satisfied with the build the only thing I would change in the future would be to add rgb fans for a pop of color.$1,359.91
