this was my 5th pc i've built personlly. it was a 4 generation upgrade from older platform. i do alot of professional music... this was my 5th pc i've built personlly. it was a 4 generation upgrade from older platform. i do alot of professional music production and some graphic design and graphic art. i am also an avid gamer love city and park building sims open world story driven games as well as driving sims. being a huge upgrade and having experience with builds for myself and my nephews i wanted to do some light theming with this build. now i know starfield isnt the most popular games now. but i enjoy the ship customization aesthetics so i wanted to try to incorperate that with this build. i plan on also adding a small diorama with crystals top soil and flaura inspired by planets in starfield and no mans sky. as well as adding fan shrouds in the same crystal theme.$1,708.92 -

am4 is back from the dead! or so i recently learned. my nephews recently told me they wanted an upgrade from an aging... am4 is back from the dead! or so i recently learned. my nephews recently told me they wanted an upgrade from an aging ryzen 1600 processor. at first i thought i might be difficult to find a new processor for socket am4 now that amd has moved on to am5. but after some researching, i learned that surprisingly amd recently released a new line of am4 cpu's. even better, my local microcenter had one available. in addition to the new amd ryzen 5600t processor, i also added a new kit of ddr4. i also transitioned away from a few old sata ssd's and consolidated all the storage into a single m2 ssd. as for rgb, we felt that green suited our new zombie project the best. this zombie of a build will live on, running games on their 6600 like minecraft, spiderman, overwatch, etc.$744.94 -

This build was initially designed for a friend who wanted a reliable gaming and streaming machine without costing too much.... This build was initially designed for a friend who wanted a reliable gaming and streaming machine without costing too much. The goal was to handle lighter games such as Minecraft and Valorant at high frame rates, while also allowing for some streaming to Discord. Aesthetics were therefore not the main concern, While cost was important, the build's components were ultimately selected based on availability (of previously purchased stock and new) and performance. The system is centered around an older system that used an i5-8400, which is still enough for the gaming and everyday productivity tasks the computer will be used for. The motherboard and memory were more recent purchases but fit well. The CPU is cooled by the Corsair iCUE H100i, an older piece but adds some flair while eliminating any concern of temps. Another old part is the MSI 1080 Gaming X, and even though 8GB is on the low side for 2024, this cart is still performing well. Most importantly, it is able to maintain a smooth 1080p144 performance for lighter games. All in all, this is a fairly decent budget PC with plenty of speed for it's intended tasks.$939.97 -
