This all started from my corsair 500d case not fitting two 360mm rads, an AIO for the CPU and the rad for my RTX 3090 K|NGP|N hybrid card. I determined I needed a bigger case to fit them both thus came the 1000d. Plenty big enough right? Sure. Actually it was too big because hoses on the AIOs were too SHORT! Then I decided to research and understand what this 1000d case really was. Of course this thing is targeting custom water cooling. A year later we have the bohemoth.$13,029.51 -

This build is primarily for gaming but I do dabble a bit in content creation. I also do a steady amount of work from home here. For work I rent the cameras that shoot most major motion pictures and TV Shows. I am based in Los Angeles California. I started with an AMD Ryzen 3800X paired with a Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master motherboard to give me the power of Ryzen's multi-core performance with some high quality VRM cooling and power delivery and future upgradeable path of the X570 chipset. Then I added a "Royal" touch to this build with 4x8GB G.Skill Trident Z Royal Silver RAM rated at DDR4-3600, to further set this build apart I then went with the NZXT Kraken Z73 360mm AIO CPU cooler set up in a Push/Pull configuration. Phanteks and their superb Eclipse P600S Mid-Tower Case provides this build with great airflow and stunning aesthetics, particularly with the ability to vertically mount my GPU, which in this case is a Asus ROG STRIX 2080TI Advanced. Finally to add the finishing touches to this build I used Lian Li's Strimer Plus power connectors to provide that extra bit of Grand flair, these are connected to my EVGA P2 850W power supply and I have them connected to my motherboard and GPU. For airflow I have Six Phanteks 120mm fans at the top of the case in a push/pull config, with a 140mm Phanteks fan at the rear of the case set up as exhaust. The front of the case has two Phanteks 140mm Fans drawing in the cool air. As for upgrades, in the near future I'm looking at upgrading to the next Ryzen generation of processors as I love the duality this family of processors provides in terms of allowing me the ability to Compile a program, or render a scene in After Effects, while still allowing me the ability to play my favorite games including VR games like Beat Saber, Half-Life Alyx, or just some of my regular favorite games like Rocket League, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Heroes of the Storm, or Star Wars Battlefront 2. I also plan on upgrading to the latest generation of Nvidia Graphics cards when they are available to hopefully utilize HDMI 2.1 to make use of the advanced gaming features of my LG 55inch OLED CX TV which I use as a monitor for my PC. To reduce the risk of burn-in I use the program Wallpaper Engine and have a playlist of video backgrounds that not only look excellent but help eliminate one of the main causes of burn in which is static images. I've also set my Windows 10 taskbar to auto hide to further reduce the risk as well as having no desktop shortcuts or icons on the desktop. For storage purposes I plan on upgrading my 3 NVME drives which are currently the 2TB version of Intel's 660p drives with PCI-E 4.0 compatible drives to increase IO Speeds. Finally for my Keyboard I use the fantastic Dygma Raise which is an ergonomic split mechanical keyboard, this Keyboard is absolutely incredible and I can't recommend it highly enough. For my mouse I use the Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED wireless mouse, and for a headset I use the Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless which is a fantastic set of cans with a decent enough microphone.$6,494.60 -

This gaming rig has been one of those projects that's been in the making for a lifetime. I've always wanted a gaming rig that matched what I've always seen from "art" looking builds. Big glass panels, fans all over the place, water cooling, and just overkilled for the sake of overkill. Over the last few years I had experimented with water cooling with custom loops, AIO's and all other configurations to get to this point. Honestly this build only happened because the 011 XL came out. At that point I had majority of my parts but in a Define R7. Swapping out and putting into a new home was priority number 1 for me. Moving everything out, and planning the loop the way I wanted with the blocks I wanted was a months long project at the beginning of the year. What sucked was going through multiple iterations of this build, as there was always something else i wanted to add or change. Over the course of this year, I got COVID just as I was starting to perform the build. It sucked because as I finished the first round of the build, I ended up in the hospital. Upon my recovery, it right there waiting for me, but I still wasn't satisfied. Found new mobo, swapped that out, went with monoblock, decided on clear tubing, and decided to veritcally mount the GPU. This PC has gone through multiple iterations, but I think where it's at now, is probably peak of what I'll reach with the current hardware I have. I would love to get my hands on a 3080 founders and a new EK waterblock for those founders, but I will need to be a patient bee for that one for now lol. As of now though, this gaming machine was a lifelong project turned reality all thanks to a new case that met all of my needs. Add that the time it took to gather the hardware, and BAM. We have what we have here. I am adding pictures of the buildout process as well as where it was, and where it's now.$5,758.95 -

As a graphic designer with a dying MacBook pro, I desperately needed a replacement for work that could render without lagging and hours of waiting. After a while, I also decided that I wanted to game on that computer, what's the point of having two graphic cards if you won't play a couple of games. Plus, everything looks so impressive on a 5k screen, so crisp! I needed specifics parts that were compatible with Hackintosh; it was a lot of research but fun! This was my first build with a glass panel, and I felt it looked a little sad and empty. Since I also needed a place to store all my little Disney creatures, they all ended up inside it (temperatures are still surprisedly low)!$5,590.61 -

Red Storm is built on a Gigabyte Z390 Xtreme board with an Intel i9-9900K CPU, 32gig of Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB RAM (3600MHz); 5 Samsung SSD's (2 NVMe, 3 SATA), an AMD Radeon VII GPU. For the OS, I’m running the latest 64-bit version of Windows 10 Pro, ver. 2004, build 19041.388. My Monitor is a 24-inch NEC wide gamut monitor @ 1920 x 1200. I tend to organize my files/media by drives so I use a 512gig NVME 970 Pro for my OS drive, a 1TB 970 Pro NVME for my finalized photos/work images. A 2TB 960 EVO for games, 1TB 860 EVO for music files, and 2 TB 860 EVO for on-site minor backups. This is a multimedia build used for photo editing via Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, gaming (Division 2, Metro Exodus, Skyrim), audio rips (dBpoweramp), music streaming (Plex, JRiver Media Center), and school/work (Office 365). While the system is capable of overclocks of 5.1gig, I keep it at base settings (XMP enabled) to not only insure stability, but quietness. It’s is housed in a Cooler Master H500M (mesh front) case, which has 3 case fans – a real Corsair 140mm ML (Magnetic Levitation) RGB fan, two front stock Cooler Master 200mm LED fans. The CPU cooler is a Corsair H115i Pro RGB platinum AIO with two stock 140mm ML RGB fans. The 1000-watt EVGA power supply has an Eco mode that prevents the fan from running unless the power supply is pushed. And the AMD Radeon VII (16gig of HBM VRAM) has 3 stock 75mm fans that constantly run but are silent unless pushed as in gaming (Example Division 2). The end result is an incredibly quiet build that keeps temps at bay (idle 30, loads 78ish while gaming). My room ambient temps average 76F/25C (78 summer, 74ish winter) Also connected to the PC is a Teac UD-503 USB DAC which has inputs for USB, Analogue, and Digital. I USB for clean musical sounds, and the motherboard’s built in ESS Sabre HiFi DAC (using Realtek drivers) for gaming or YouTube. I'm really happy with this build :)$5,230.15 -

This is a top of the line Intel based gaming behemoth. All of the components were chosen because they were, and still are, top of the line for a gaming rig. The customer brought the machine in this year for a water cooling upgrade. Planning for the custom loop was rather difficult, as the open air design of the case does not leave very many mounting options. The final result was well worth the effort. Haven't had a capable gaming pc in over 10 years and haven't actually built systems in over 20 years (my bro and I used to as teenagers). When my wife gave birth to our second son and we got a nice tax refund, my wife gave me the all-clear to get myself a new system. Bought a prebuilt at first but due to problems with the system and poor customer service, I returned it and got to researching my own build. The system started off on a Gigabyte board and NZXT case, but after more problems with certain parts, I ended up with an almost completely Corsair build. Out of all of the customer service issues I had to deal with, they are simply the best: no hassle, no run around, just fast RMA. As for the system, I use it to play mostly single player RPGs or FPS games. I love the Metro series, Divinity games, The Witcher games, Resident Evil, BattleTech and MechWarrior, Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Deus Ex, and so many others. Recently I played most of the latest games with real time ray traced effects and I'm eagerly anticipating where the technology is heading. Really looking forward to a couple of other games that will feature the technology in Cyberpunk 2077 and Vampire Bloodlines 2. Also really looking forward to Baldur's Gate 3. Currently enjoying Season 2 of The Division 2 with my brother, and really hoping that the next Control DLC will feature Alan Wake as many expect it to be! In the future, I hope to install a hard line custom loop, likely in the Hydro X series since I already have a Commander Pro and have already installed a soft tube Hydro X loop for a friend. Sadly, I can't find a water block for my card (they appear to be EOL both at EVGA and EKWB - Corsair doesn't make one for my model), so if I want to go custom loop, I'll probably have to get a new card. Otherwise, I don't really plan any other upgrades until I replace the system maybe in five years, especially since Z390 is also the end for upgrades.$4,927.85 -

The Dragon was a build in the works for about 6 months to accumulate the necessary parts and aesthetics without destroying my poor, poor wallet all in one go. Its purpose was primarily for gaming though it is also used for software development (personal and work related), cyber security (pentesting, malware analysis, cracking, etc), and entertainment (streaming and media server). When gaming, I aim for multiplayer usually Overwatch or PUBG though I spend a portion of time in single player games such as Fallout, Just Cause, Witcher and Civilization VI. I tend to contribute to a few open source projects in my free time and also do work in web development so it doubles as a fantastic development and testing environment, especially with the amount of tasks I can spin up thanks to the Ryzen 3700X. My only two slight disappointments with the build, which I plan on changing in the future are that I didn't upgrade to a 2080 Ti (preferably the Gigabyte AORUS XTREME, cause its such a beautiful card), and that I didn't dump out even more money for a 3900X, which I likely will not be upgrading since it'd be overkill on my wallet for little extra visible benefit. Personally, I found this build to be an absolute pleasure to put together despite my sometimes questionable use of cable ties and not having more than 2 hands! Thanks to the use of a Corsair Commander Pro I managed to keep my fan and RGB cables neat and clean, but I admit that as far as cable management goes, its not my proudest work on the backside. C'est la vie ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It provides all the performance you'd expect from the parts and I so far have not had any issues with any of the software or games I have run on it. It eats through gaming, streaming shows, and running multiple development servers simultaneously like a dream, but the unfortunate trade-off is that my beefy Zotac 1080Ti AMP Extreme spits out more heat than an average fireplace. Since I'm aiming for an upgrade in the future, this may rectify itself nicely since I know the airflow in the case keeps fresh enough thanks to 9 fans. All in all, my favorite build to date. - jkmalan$4,498.75 -

I've been a PC gamer since Highschool, but never had that "prime gaming build". So I took it upon myself to learn, read, and watch videos non-stop on how to build a PC, what the compenents do, why choosing certain parts over another matter, etc. This was my very own PC I solo built, and honestly I was expecting so many problems at the boot-up. It booted immediately, my girlfriend and I were shocked to say the least lol. I'm more confident in my building potential, but I'm probably going to build off of this one for a loooong time. Looking forward to that GeForce RTX 3090! I'm always about futureproofing, especially with how fast the gaming industry changings and adds even more stunning visuals. I also wanted a seamless, single, streaming PC. I just need to work on scheduling better, but this streams with almost no issues what so ever.$4,054.83 -

I had been waiting years to rebuild my old workhorse, and I finally got around to looking for parts that not only performed well, but satisfied my aesthetic. I had dabbled in custom loop coling before, but I finally was at a point in my life I could go all out. Overall gaming includes FPS, RTS, and combat sims, and also used *regretably* for work. I'm probably going to rebuild this system into a bigger case, like the Thermaltake WP200, in order to clear my desk of the external hard drive enclosures and get better airflow (while it's good in this system, theres only one fan at the very top of the case in the front section for airflow over the components. Thinking of also getting the monoblock and replacing the CPU block for some better thermals.$4,007.93 -

SN850 1Tb 2 Intel 760p 1Tb Corsair QL Fans Corsair RMX850 Corsair 680X Case Corsair H150i, should've done a H115i to top mount though! I stream on twitch.tv/Ozone510, always on with friends just roasting each other while playing VALORANT or spooky games! I helped each and everyone of my friends build their computers and I scored them each a 3000 series GPU through a lot of hard work and luck, constantly checking all sites, all the time! It's possible everyone. I so far have helped 11 people this year score a GPU at MSRP, or as close as I can get to it! Good luck everyone and have fun!$3,939.93 -

This is the 3rd iteration ( still being built actually ) of the "Game Room". This station will focus on "player 1" as we have 3 in the room. The purpose it to achieve all aspects of what you need to work, and Game with friends. Player 1 is built to playing Apex Legends, and doing remote work for the office. Specs: Custom Hard Tube Water cooling, Core I7 9700k with Thermaltake water block, 16GB Corsair RGB Pro, Asus 850 Watt PSU, Asus Strix 1080Ti with Thermaltake Waterblock, Asus 32 inch curved 1440 144hz screen, 2x AOC 144hz 27 inch curved screens. Apple MacBook Pro 16 ( 32gb, core i9 8 core, 2TB ) connected to Razer Core X Chroma for screen output. Custom Desk. Things to do... waiting for the 3 series of Nvidia, So any winnings would go there but the room also isn't done yet so lots left to do. Build Process: Custom Hard tubing is a fun thing to learn. Ive redone the tubing about 5 times now getting better with each iteration (Most recently changed yesterday with the adding of the Asus power supply and reworking of tubes for "neater" bends. The whole room is taking about 2 months to complete so far. It should be done in about 2 more weeks ( So far we are on week 6 )$3,623.87 -

A third purpose was to build a Desktop powerful enough to indulge in other things such as 3D modelling/rendering or photo and video editing. I have spent hours at this build playing AAA titles like; The Witcher 3, DOOM, Ghostwire Tokyo, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Assassins Creed Odyssey and too many others to remember at the top of my head. Spent countless more hours on e-sports titles like League Of Legends, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Overwatch, Call of Duty Warzone and whatever else interests me in this category. It has been a few years since I built it, really had fun with it, but I think that now it is time to upgrade.$3,606.94 -

I got into sim racing last summer playing ACC very casually on my GF's pc. As I got more into the hobby I wanted to upgrade to a triple monitor setup. This meant upgrading the PC as well and getting a monitor stand. I decided to go all in and spring for a 4090 and 7800X3D, and took advantage of microcenters bundle deal with the cpu/ram/mobo. Shortly after getting the monitor stand. I end up getting a cockpit as well. I regret purchasing the monitor stand and cockpit separately. I should have just gotten the TK P1 Pro bundle, i would have gotten an upgraded cockpit along with the keyboard tray and mouse pad for the same price . Im still very happy with my current setup. Gonna hold off on any more upgrades for the time being, even though I am a bit tempted to upgrade my wheelbase/wheel lol. My main goal with Redshift was converting the processor and graphics card to AMD and this build accomplishes that. In the previous build, I mentioned that Redshift was the only desktop computer in the household, but not anymore. As for Redshift, that computer still has the same components from the last time that I updated it and has become a computer that my sister uses often. Managed switches has been something that interests me, so I decided to pursue that with the LGS308P. Browsing through the settings, I found one titled VLAN and did some research, along with diagrams, to figure out how to integrate VLANs into the network. Considering my passion in PC building and networking, I am unsure whether or not to go through with my VLAN integration.$3,587.80 -

I built it to handle the demanding AAA titles out now and future releases for a while as well as the ability to stream. My office is blue/stormtrooper themed so i put the aesthetics around that. This PC is capable of pretty much anything id ever ask it to do! I vertically mounted the GPU for the look of the shroud, and to take up the empty space in that section. I originally built this computer when I was 12, with an FX 8350 and GTX 950. Over the years though it’s been through many changes as my interest grew. The first real upgrade was to a GTX 1060 for VR, then I got a Ryzen 7 1700 when Zen launched, and when mining exploded I got in early enough with my modest little machine to buy a 1070. Between those mining Etherium I saved up enough to sell those and get a EVGA 1080 TI Hybrid. I then traded my dad for one of his MSI Armour 1080 TI he had after mining died (since he was one of the weirdos who bought 10 graphics cards for it) and a small Corsair AIO since it seemed to be a better overclocker than my hybrid. That’s actually still the card I have today (yes the list says 2070 super it’s just the closest thing to it). Then when Zen 2 came out, I showed up on launch day and got me a 3700x. As luck would have it my motherboard didn’t get the bios update so I had to get a new one, and at the time the cheapest one with a post code read out was the behemoth of a board that is the Crosshair VIII. It wasn’t a wise purchasing decision if I’m being honest but I love the board nonetheless (even if the overclocking buttons don’t work as advertised). The reason I put this build here as new, is because one, I’ve never posted it before, and two, I just rebuilt the entire thing in an 011 Dynamic with custom water cooling. Another enormous waste of money, but one I love nonetheless. I think the theme here is to have fun with the computer not on the computer. With the new loop, and the 20$ gpu block, t-die is 40 degrees in time spy extreme fully overclocked. I now hold the world record in my hardware config (aside from a guy who somehow hacked 3D mark and is 2000 points above stock at stock clocks). Other than the cooling though, I also modified the current sense circuit for the 2 8 pin pcie power connectors by piggybacking some 8 miliohm resistors on top of the existing ones. This means under full load the card thinks it’s only using 80% of its (already modded through vbios) 120% Limit, stopping gpu boost from hitting power or thermal limits ever. I love this thing and I can’t wait to play with Zen 3 when it comes out, a unified ccd is going to be a whole new adventure to tinker with. A couple of notes before I go though, my TIM is not liquid metal, it’s Kryonaut, Cunductonaut was just the closest thing in stock. Additionally I don’t have the gigabyte SSD, I have a Sabrant Rocket that I got for way cheaper and actually has 50000 iops on the one in the build list. Lastly, the RGB on the fans is from Phanteks Halos that microcenter also doesn’t sell, but turns the beastly Vardar fans into something with really good rgb (the EK rgb Vardars only have one set of leds that aren’t individually addressable).$3,514.45 -
