Instead of trying to figure out what parts needed to be replaced, I thought it was a good time to just build an entire new PC from scratch. I built this mainly for gaming as I use a Macbook Pro for work and other day to day tasks. Given that this was my first build and I wasn't too confident, I did not want to spend a whole lot and just opted for the best bang for the buck I could get. So far it's been a beast and I plan on adding some Noctua fans in the future to quiet it down a bit and improve airflow.$1,359.92 -

It plays everything I ran on it perfectly, but it does kinda heats up to around 80 degrees while under load because I am only using a stock CPU cooler from AMD. I just purchased a AIO CPU water-cooler. Hopefully it will alleviate this heating issue. Other than that, I don't have any issue with it. The FPS is great. It constantly hits 100FPS for most games at 2k resolution/high graphic setting. When I turn the graphic setting down to mid, it would hit 200+FPS.$1,575.95 -

Built because old system would not take Windows 11 and the graphics card was not sufficient for Bethesda's upcoming title Starfield. The case is large enough to take my DVD player and to "hide" most of the drives "under" the motherboard. With four fans (3 intake and 1 exhaust) it has plenty of cooling for the CPU and Graphics card. Moterboard WiFi antenna included has two "micro" coax connectors and cable is too short for good under-desk placement of tower. Top has the on-off button, color mode button, audio ports and 2 USB 3 type A ports. Top ports are USB 3.0 but inside is not blue. Gray on black writing is not a favorite due to lack of contrast.$1,124.94 -

This build is intended for gaming, and it does it with ease. Things I needed to do: I needed to use a longer screwdriver to install the CPU cooler, as the one that came with it was not enough for me, update BIOS so the CPU would work, and adjust the memory speed. I did notice that the SSD was not showing up on the BIOS, however when installing Win everything was fine.$1,504.91 -

My main display is 1440p and the RX 6800 runs everything flawlessly even while streaming. I do quite a bit of 3d printing and this handles CAD and slicing without a problem. The Red Rebel is my desktop computer, which I use for gaming (I play TABG, HALO MCC, R6, Subnautica, Splitgate, DBD, and DOOM), but during covid, I also used it to attend virtual school, I also use it to 3D print or just do work. I took the idea from Robey Tech's all AMD build, but I decided that I want my case to not show the specific specs for the device, rather I wanted it to just show the AMD architectures so that I can upgrade to different components in the future. I also added 2 acrylic bars to the side rather than the typical vinyl, which adds a bit of pop to the build. I used a 6800 instead of a 3070 because the 3070 I had in the past wasn't too powerful, plus I don't care too much about ray tracing, and the 6800 is better for pure FPS. I used the QL 120s for the best RGB ion fans I could find, and I used the H150i because I could add my own acrylic pannel to the cooler. Also, I would like to add that I don't keep my computer on the floor, this is just where the best lighting and background were. Hope you enjoy the Build$2,344.90 -

Actually have a you tube channel called Goodsell Productions. Should be posting more video content, but I'm also using it to send personal videos, to grandparents, of sporting games. I'm a AMD guy. The TUF 6800 Radeon GPU, AMD Ryzen 9 3900x Processor, and the TUF x-570 motherboard seems to work great together. The cooling system, for the GPU and the processor, is the key to speed. I always have the fans going on the GPU regardless of the temp. Make multi-tasking extremely fast. Added in a few Corsair LED fans, some branded cords, and BAM! Perfection.$2,272.87 -

It was time to upgrade and I wanted a computer powerfully enough to easily handle triple-a games, then I found a really unique case. I let this case lay the ground work and located some excellent new hardware, using Cyberpunk 2077's requirements as a guideline for some minimums. During the build I encountered a design flaw in the case, making the graphics card installation very difficult. Had I known about that, I would have found a way to clear the path before mounting the motherboard. I also could have saved on the cable extensions that I bought with the case as they were completely unneeded. I really love unique case designs, I feel like they can make your set up stand out compared to all the standard RGB boxes.$2,217.93 -

So I thought ryzen 5 3600 + 16gb ram would be sufficient enough, and I also spent a considerable amount of budget to buy a good 500gb SSD, and a nice set of game keyboards & mouse. Also, I occasionally enjoy games that do not require high quality graphics (minecraft, some steam games, etc), so I chose radeon rx 570 for my video cards. I also need to run some research program like matlab, mathematica, and they run totally fine. For bad part, It would have been better if I chose smaller case. My case seems too big and heavy. The other bad part, when I turn the power on, there is a 5 second lag until motherboard starts to operate. I'm not sure about this issue, but it doesn't bug me too much because once turned on, it is fast enough.$716.91 -

My first build was i7-6700 (Gigabit Motherboard - don't remember which one) with 250GB SSD and 1TB Hard Drive (7200 RPM). Video Card was an ASUS Nvidia GT745 in a Corsair Medium Tower. Unfortunately, my 1TB hard drive was down to 30 GB when I got back from a trip to Germany and Windows 7 support was done. I bought a 4TB Hard drive and 500 GB SSD and was going to replace the drives in the Intel build when I decided to build a new computer instead to avoid losing the other data. Went to Microcenter in Fairfax VA, and he suggested a AMD Ryzen 7 instead of Intel i7. Price point - very good. Then he sold me the case- Lian Li LiCool II. REALLY good move I later learned. Brought home the gear and put it aside until I had time to build it. Well...COVID closed everything down and I decided to build it to get my mind being stuck in my house. Loved it. It was a great little build, and I was able to upload my photos and purge my old drives. I also updated the First build with the same 500GB SSD and 4TB Hard Drive so I got the old computer working well in Windows 10. My only "complaint": my ASUS Nvidia GT1030 was just underpowered. I was only able to use two monitors and I wanted a three-monitor option. I was not in a hurry to buy a new one, but I was looking for video cards that could handle three or four monitors. A few months later, I watched a video from JayzTwoCents ("Is NVIDIA even trying anymore" - April 25, 2019) when he was reviewing the GT1650. For some reason hecompared it to an PowerColor AMD RX570 Radeon Red Devil 4GDDR. Reason: it was CHEAPER than the GT1650. When I saw the RX570 price ($139.99 vs $80 for the GT1030), my jaw dropped to the ground. When I checked Microcenter, they had that very card on sale for $139.99. Bought it online on the spot and picked it up that day. I replaced the GT1030 and LOVE the new card. I don't even play games!
