I like to play Battlefield..5. and many other FPS games. I'm also playing Red Dead Redemption 2 right now and I'm maxed out settings with 120+ fps on both! I'm bummed it isn't Alderlake but when I started gathering up parts Alderlake wasn't even announced yet. The 4000d is a good case to work with but if you do beware the top of the case has RAM clearance issues so you will likely need a 240mm radiator or if you have a 280mm the RAM needs to be low profile. The first attempt at building the PC revealed the motherboard was nonfunctional but I was able to get an RMA within a few weeks. Everything else went smoothly and this is my first serious gaming PC build!$3,073.91 -

This all started from my corsair 500d case not fitting two 360mm rads, an AIO for the CPU and the rad for my RTX 3090 K|NGP|N hybrid card. I determined I needed a bigger case to fit them both thus came the 1000d. Plenty big enough right? Sure. Actually it was too big because hoses on the AIOs were too SHORT! Then I decided to research and understand what this 1000d case really was. Of course this thing is targeting custom water cooling. A year later we have the bohemoth.$13,029.51 -

I play on Vr ((I have the valve index)really wanna to upgrade my gpu soon to something to match this beast of a rig), War Thunder, Star Citizen, COD, and more. I also video edit for time to time and also 3D model when I can for 3D printing and Vr Chat. I also do slight graphic design. My dream setup has only begun and I plan to do a lot more to it! What do I plan on adding or upgrading? Well for starters I plan on upgrading my gpu as I said above. I play a lot of games that are still in alpha or in beta stage of development because I like to so these games grow and progress into something amazing and cool. For the rest of hard ware it mostly complete the rest is either more memory or just small touch ups on lighting or wiring. I have a unfinished basement and plan on build a room for just gaming. In one corner I plan on putting a nice big green screen for VR and plan on putting my flight and racing simulator done there as well. I have extra parts for gaming rig and plan on putting on together so friends and family can play on good graphics if they wanna play pc games with me. I plan on getting a nice flight sim chair for Star Citizen, DCS, and War Thunder. I plan on getting the Thrustmaster Warthog with an extra stick for Star Citizen. What’s in my setup now? I made this build to get back into 3d animation, which is something I haven't been able to do for a long time due to the lack of decent computer. What spurred on the build was winning the i9-10900K from Intel and LMG for their LTX Gold Sample giveaway. I have been slowly re learning 3d animation with it but also enjoy some gaming, I mainly play Gears 5, but also Minecraft, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. I do plan to double the RAM and I wish I would have looked into the cooler a little more, the 240R is a little small for my i9-10900K, the temps are fine when left stock but I would like to overclock it and as soon as I do the temps go through the roof and I thermal throttle almost instantly. I was lucky enough to be able to get a 3070 right before the prices became unbelievably high but if the market were normal at the time I would have liked to get either a 3080 or ideally a 3090 since more VRAM is king with 3d applications, but over all I'm not going to complain since at least I was able to get a decent GPU at a decent price. One other thing I would have also done differently had I have known more before hand was I would have gotten an ASUS motherboard specifically for the RGB software it uses, Gigabytes RGB software is VERY limiting and overall feels like they don't really care to make it great, whereas from what I've seen about the ASUS one there are a lot more and better options. I would like to also get the same fans for everywhere because the colours are different enough between the 2 different types of fans I'm using.$2,298.93 -

I wanted to go with a white theme so I could use the RGB to make any color theme I wanted. The upgrade was the same, just keep the majority of the system white in order to maintain the ability to make any color theme I want. It’s a gaming rig most importantly. I enjoy first person shooter games mostly. I’ve played almost the entire far cry series on it. I also enjoy games similar to GTA and Watchdogs as well. The only upgrade I desperately want for it is a GPU. It has a 2070 super currently which is very capable. I would like to put a white card in it of course and at the same time, a 30 series card would be wonderful. Eventually I may end up custom water cooling depending on a GPU upgrade.$2,313.35 -

This is my 3rd build since I started PC Gaming, I've built everyone! Shout-out to Microcenter for always having what I need! I play everything from CoD, to League of Legends, to Minecraft. this beautiful machine handles it all! I was hoping to upgrade my GPUs that I took from my last build, but things are a bit crazy in that regards right now! Though my current setup still gets the job done extremely nicely! So far I've overclocked the CPU to 5.0GHz, the highest I was able to get it was 5.4, but I feel safer at 5.0 with a lower voltage, for daily use. I love that my PC is able to handle anything I throw at it and the temperatures are beautiful too. One function led to another, for the while it takes the system runs efficiently smooth. It’s a build from a different moment in time. I really want a newer Nvidia 30 series, ergo the availability with those graphics cards need improvement.$2,233.41 -

I decided to just go all out and get mostly ASUS ROG products. Little overkill from what I'm told but I'm really happy with it all. The fact that I switched over from Xbox specifically for VR is hilarious. I will never buy another console. I sadly paid a scalper for my Strix 3090 because I did not want to wait for the unseeable future. Very happy to have the help of Greg and David to help build this monster! Definitely going to update all the wires. Sorry to your eyes >.<$12,554.20 -

All my life I have suffered and compromised using low-end PCs for once I have money and built a no-compromise PC, been waiting since May for Nvidia to come out with a GPU and they have not made a single GPU. Started this build in August to be prepared for the RTX30 launch, just waiting to get my hands on one. I mostly use it for VR racing and flight sims but play a wide range of games. This was my 3rd custom build to start from scratch and I'm ecstatic how this one turned out and how well it runs even with a 2 generation old GPU. Will be including the new graphics card in the custom loop. *I'm working out of town and haven't been able to set it up in my office so I submitted a picture of my home setup to which this pc will trade places with once I'm back home*$5,321.94 -

I decided to pull the plug this year and achieve to get this setup by any means. Additionally, with all parts being bought from Microcenter.$1,917.91 -

This is an open loop liquid cooled pc. the loop was designed using a thermaltake distro plate with one pump and 2 radiators. the flow was designed to be one radiator per component. I used a Y fitting at the intro area of the distro block in order to have both radiators empty into the top of the reservoir. the distro plate has 2 out ports that i am using, one for the cpu motherboard and the other for the GPU. My radiators are one 68mm thick 480mm thermaltake rad in the front and one 360 rad on top. The components are ekwb MSI pro carbon motherboard with a full cover waterblock on an intel platform with an i9-10900k. the GPU is an EVGA RTX 2080 ti xc ultra gaming. 1600 watt psu. 64gb corsair rgb pro 3200 mhz cl 16 ram. two 1 tb samsung 970 pro nvme ssd.$4,670.96 -

FPS gaming. Mostly playing Warzone, but this computer is dual purpose, gmaing and photo editing. Work with Photoshop and Lightroom. Also, was not able to add a few key features on list below on build. Runing a Samsung 970 Evo plus 1 tb m.2 mvme solid state drive, Runing cooler master ML360R ARGB, and 6 more Cooler Master MF120R ARGB fans. I can really use the $500 gift card to buy GPU that I built this computer for but not able to buy! LOL. One day will be once of the currently lucky few that managed to get inline for 12 hours to buy a rare RTX 3080! Luckily my buddy waited in line for one and I was able to borrow his GTX 1660 ti till I get my hands on an ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 ;) Still haven't removed case plastic, waiting on GPU and Desk.$1,574.94 -

I enjoy watching the time lapse builds on you tube, those guys and gals can build some awesome rigs. I have a desk in the corner of my room, so a couple years ago I got this image or idea in my head about building a cool water cooled system spread out on the two walls above my desk. Friends think I'm crazy, but the idea stuck in my head and "some day I'm gonna do it!". Well that day was 7 months long of engineering the design, ordering parts, researching parts (dig deep into M.2 storage systems or multiple card arrays, you can spend weeks and still be lost), fabricating parts and most importantly working to BUY the $6000+ in parts. And the actual, build itself was spread out over 4 weeks. Its my first water cooled build, so the tubing was extremely slow going and chopped full of mistakes, lol literally I have 15 feet worth of 16mm hard tubing mistakes. And the cost of water fittings quickly overwhelmed me. I've got at least $400 just in fittings. I love the people at Microcenter reservations, I just pick my parts online and reserve them, and they go gather them off the shelves, what a time saver for me, I love them guys and gals. I mostly just play World of Tanks, and World of Warplanes with the rig, the Core I9 10900K 10th gen CPU and the ROG Strix 2070 on a ASUS ROG Maximus XII Formula board are way overkill for my needs, but over is better than under. I operate with the CPU punched up to 5 GHZ, 3.7 being stock, but I have clocked it up to 5.2 for benchtests but haven't took it to the magical 5.3 yet, lol. I do have an ASUS Hyper M.2 X 16 card for linking 4 M.2s, but as of now I have 3 Samsung 970 EVO plus card mounted in board set up in a RAID 0 configuration so the hyper drive would be an insignificant gain , it would have to read my mind to get much faster than it is now, lol. And a big thank you to Microcenter a good 3/4 of this build came off their shelves, mostly the Brentwood Mo store but some was the online store. The employees at Microcenter are truly the best, I have never gotten less than 100% of genuine want to satisfy. I bought this build one pay check at a time, and I am a flooring installer making $15/hr, so that was a lot of floors, and a lot of trips to Microcenter, lol.$3,780.09
