Built this for someone who wanted the latest AM5 and they were upgrading from an old AM3 build which was almost 10 years old and wanted to build something to last just as long. Decided to use a AMD GPU to keep everything AMD and also stay below budget (as we did not plan to use NVIDIA's features like DLSS and RTX for the games they play). To play their current games such as R6 Siege, FFXIV, Overwatch, CS2, and Valorant.$1,523.92 -

The parts were all budget, under 300, then was upgraded with more RAM and a GPU (as it was first made with integrated graphics) It was a perfect start to enter the gaming world, and upgraded as desires changed. (I would change the case though)$915.91 -

I found one on eBay and had planned a whole build around it. That is not this. I walked into a local pawnshop I visited often and saw a pc they had for $500. It WAS working when they got it and a previous customer looked at it. However, when I went to see it did not boot. They could not figure what the issue was and sold it to me at $340 no tax. I take it home and reseated the ram. It worked. I cleaned it up got all the weird bits and incorrect wiring corrected. It was a lil nasty but nothing a duster can't deal with. (I know its dusty.) My main plans for this are most likely a Case Swap + GPU Upgrade + more RGB Lights. Maybe some small Etsy stuff for decoration.$527.00 -

Ended up winning a reddit giveaway for a 4090 that I wouldn't be able to fit in my current build. After struggling to sell the 4090 on eBay, I decided to just build a whole new rig to accomodate it. Don't worry, my 5600G build went to my dad so he'd have a proper office PC, and I'm hanging onto my 6700XT in case the 4090 ever decides to off itself (*knock on wood*). AMD Ryzen 5 5600x CPU- Purchased at Microcenter with a special sale price of $129.99 using their credit card for an additional 5% off. Probably the best price to performance deal I’ve ever seen on a 6 core 12 thread CPU. Asus B550-F - Quality budget B550 board purchased at Microcenter with $20 bundle saving with the CPU and 5% off using their credit card. Has 4 RAM slots and both 5v ARGB and 12V RGB headers. XPG RGB 16gb DDR4 3600mhz - Purchased at Amazon with 3% off using the Amazon credit card. Solid speed for Ryzen 5600x and has RGB! Gigabyte 1tb SSD - Purchased at Amazon as well with 3% off using credit card. Can’t go wrong with any NVME drive honestly. Asus Strix Radeon 570 4gb - Purchased used on eBay. In my opinion, the RX 570 is still the budget king for 1080p gaming. NZXT S340 White - Standard mid-sized ATX case purchased on a long time ago and was used in a previous build, reusing it in this build. This has become my favorite budget case for “clean” builds. For $50 (I originally picked it up years ago) it has tempered glass and looks great. PowerSpec 650w Bronze - Power supply I had from my previous build. It doesn’t have black cables, but since I had sleeved cable extensions it didn’t matter. I assumed a price since I already had it laying around. Gigabyte Aorus ATC800 CPU Cooler - This thing is massive! I really liked the RGB look on this CPU Cooler and filled out the space nicely in this case. Previously had a Corsair H100i which ended up failing, so I wanted to try something different with using a large air CPU cooler. This turned out to be one of my favorite builds so far. I like the theme and it looks super clean!$589.97 -

Built this PC because I was guilted by my friends to play Hell Divers II. My wife also needed a PC to do our taxes on every year. The goal was mild future proofing (the GPU is my Bottleneck) and escalated quite a bit from the original build scope thanks to the Ryzen 7 7700x bundle. I am able to play games at 1440 on high settings and 1080 ultra settings at a minimum of 65-80 fps. The original purpose was just to have a racing sim rig. This is the first pc I have even worked on, I assembled/built myself in an afternoon.$1,124.94 -

Sold off the old 2500K and made a clean build. The 1700 was fast once overclocked. Ram speed did not matter much then. Upgraded everything inside to 3900X 64gb ram and a Radeon 5700. Every five years I like to start fresh. But a 5950X would look really good in this box. Maybe even a 6590XT. Might get a few more years out of the system.$1,215.00 -

Started out as just a gaming computer. Slowly added some server features over time. Added a flight yoke and steering wheel recently. Running a three monitor setup. Upgraded the storage and ram. Looking to upgrade the aging cpu and gpu soon. The add on cards are using up most of the slots. So will have to keep an eye on slots. The build is old but I keep upgrading it to meet my needs.$850.00 -

The original goal was to play Counter-Strike, and now I play all kinds of games ranging from Valorant, Overwatch, Witcher, Red Dead, R6, etc. Something I would have done different in hindsight is getting a stronger processor, as even though I game at 1440p, a stronger processer with more cores would have been better for streaming and school work.$1,147.94 -

This build was fueled by 1, needing a computer to use for everyday things, 2, wanting to play some light games like Minecraft and Portal, and 3, trying to remain within a decent budget. If I was to do it all over again, I would probably have gotten a better CPU. When I bought my CPU it cost me about $100 due to the silicon shortages of the past couple year; now it's only worth around $50.$574.97 -

This PC was put together around the Intel i5 12600kf and Intel Arc A770 Bundle from Microcenter. The total cost for this PC was super impressive given the performance it was putting out. I am able to play demanding games like Flight simulator with stable performance using DX12. I posted some synthetic benchmark scores in the images for reference if anyone is considering getting the A770. If most of the games you play are newer DX12 titles then the A770 is legit.
