I built this PC for gaming, schoolwork, etc. I had a great experience with AMD the last time I built my PC, so this time I decided to go with them again. They have a great selection of affordable, powerful GPUs. In the low-end to mid-range markets, their GPU always outperforms NVIDIA GPU cards at the lower price point. Anyway, I am very happy with this build so far. It's been running great.$1,529.93 -

It's been working great so far. I have not encountered any games this PC couldn't run. This setup is absolutely perfect for 1440p gaming. The only thing I would not suggest in this build is the 1500-watt PSU. It's unnecessary. I got it during a sale and I didn't know what I was doing. A 800-watt PSU for this build is sufficient.$2,344.93 -

I built this as a secondary PC for my girlfriend to use when I am using my main rig inside the office. I opted for as little RGB as possible since I didn't want it to be too much of a focal point in the living room where it's set up. I’m happy with the way it came out except for some of the wiring due to the TUF PSU having very malleable cabling. Not a bad thing I’m just inexperienced. Also, I wanted an AIO with an LCD screen but the NZXT and Ryujin still sit at a high price. I despise the large pump on the rug aio, but love the pump head despite not having a screen. I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). And for my 2nd piece of advice, enjoy the build expierience you know, have fun.$2,572.91 -

We rearranged out living room and now have all of our electronics in a minimalist tv stand. As a result, the odd man out was the bulky full tower desktop pc I had been using hooked up to the living room oled tv. But, to view the glass as half full, this rearrangement meant I got to do something I've always wanted to try. Namely, to build a complete pc in the same size as a gaming console. Performance wise, there were no real corners cut because I chose a case that accommodated a relatively large graphics card (EVGA RTX 3070). Temperatures aren't much of a problem because the kinds of games this system plays is pretty casual, such as my kid's current playthrough of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.$1,096.90 -

In the bustling town where I grew up, there weren't many options for computer enthusiasts like me. Sure, there were a handful of small computer shops scattered around, each offering a mishmash of components, but none could compare to the tech haven that is Microcenter. My journey into the world of building PCs began amidst these humble surroundings. Armed with determination and a modest budget, I scoured the shelves of these local stores, piecing together my first rig. It wasn't perfect, but it was mine—a testament to my budding passion for all things tech. As I tinkered with my creation, learning the ins and outs of hardware assembly, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more out there, something beyond the limitations of my small town's offerings. That something turned out to be Microcenter. The first time I set foot in that gleaming megastore, I felt like a kid in a candy shop. Row upon row of pristine components stretched out before me, gleaming under the fluorescent lights. It was a paradise for any PC enthusiast, with shelves stocked high with the latest processors, graphics cards, and peripherals. But it wasn't just the sheer variety of products that captivated me—it was the expertise of the staff. Unlike the often clueless employees at the local shops, the Microcenter team were true professionals, eager to share their knowledge and offer advice on even the most obscure tech questions. Armed with the resources of Microcenter and the guidance of its knowledgeable staff, I embarked on my next build with newfound confidence. Gone were the days of settling for "okay" parts; now, I had access to the best of the best. With their help, I carefully selected each component, ensuring that my new rig would be a masterpiece of performance and reliability. As I sat back and admired my completed build, I couldn't help but marvel at how far I'd come. From humble beginnings in those small-town computer shops to the pinnacle of PC building excellence at Microcenter, my journey had been nothing short of extraordinary. And as I powered up my new rig for the first time, I knew that the best was yet to come. At its core lay the beating heart of my creation, the Intel i7 8700k, a processor as reliable as it was powerful. With its six cores and twelve threads, it was the engine that drove my digital adventures, powering through the most demanding of tasks with ease. Surrounding it, like loyal soldiers standing guard, were 32GB of RAM, a veritable army of memory, ready to tackle any challenge I threw their way. And nestled snugly within the belly of the beast was a lightning-fast 1TB SSD, its silent whispers promising swift load times and snappy system responsiveness. But it was the crown jewel of my rig—the RTX 2070 SUPER GPU—that truly set it apart. With its ray-tracing prowess and blistering rendering speeds, it transformed every pixel into a masterpiece, bringing my virtual worlds to life with unparalleled beauty and realism. Together, we embarked on a journey unlike any other, a journey into the heart of gaming and streaming glory. From the darkest dungeons to the farthest reaches of outer space, we traversed virtual landscapes with skill and determination, our every triumph and defeat broadcast to an eager audience of fellow adventurers. But it wasn't just about the games—it was about the connection. With my powerful rig, I streamed in crystal-clear HD, my every word and gesture captured with stunning clarity. And as I interacted with my viewers, sharing stories and swapping strategies, I felt a sense of camaraderie unlike anything I'd ever known.$886.96 -

My objective was to build a rig on the premise of cost efficiency vs. having the right hardware to get the job done. The problem was temptation. Man that 4090 comes to mind! I did choose to go the AM4 platform's route though. It is a solid choice in my view because it is AMD's best product vs. price to date. Performance turned out to be really good as well. Although it is an older platform I'm still playing games like God of War, Cyberpunk, Doom Eternal, Horizon, and Call of Duty III at more than satisfactory levels. The graphics are still eye-catching and that 6800 XT is a beast and was a great choice for this build! Temperatures are great when gaming as well. I did stress test it with Cinebench R23 and AIDA64 and those results did not even approach borderline.$2,028.62 -
