I built this rig with my friends on my 14th birthday and I built it for school and gaming. I usually play valorant and terraria. I really enjoy this pc because it can handle most things I throw at it, and it is definitely an upgrade from the clunky old 2012 macbook I used previously. In hindsight, I probably should have gotten a better gpu like the 1660 super instead of the 1650 super, because it would pair better with the cpu. I do really love this build and the process of watching countless videos from ltt, bitwit, jayztwocents, and gamers nexus to understand how pcs work and what parts to get. I would definetly build a pc again, wether it be for a friend or for fun, it was a great experience.

Past: I’ve had a passion for building computers ever since I was a freshman in high school. Since then, I would stay up nights watching BitWit and Linus. After countless hours, I finally decided on the parts I’ll infuse into my dream PC. The Beginning: Building a PC without even working, especially in a hispanic household had most of it’s disappointments. Being told your vision was only just a matter of time before I gave up on it, bummed me out a lot but I never gave up! Fortunately, after explaining that this will enhance my skill and passion in Hardware Engineering and Software, they allowed me and even helped me. After 1-2 months and camping outside of this Micro Center for a GPU (although I didn’t get the one I wanted but I was desperate), I finally finished. It booted up perfectly. Mid Journey: However… It wasn’t what I wanted it to be. It wasn’t near what I wanted my DREAM PC to be. After being hired for the summer, I made money and invested most of it to upgrading. I upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5 3600 to Ryzen 7 3700x. I knew my dream case was the Lian Li O11D Mini and with the help of a fellow Micro Center employee, I was encouraged on going through with it! I added case fans and an extra 16GB of RAM which was pricey, but very worth it haha. (A new SFX Power Supply to accommodate with the new case as well. The End of an Era/Issues: After installation of the Motherboard, I realized there wasn't space in the back from the case to mount my AIO. I panicked because I wasn't planning on using the included wraith cooler with my CPU. My AIO pump is so cute! "How could I ever let it go" I thought. I stared for a moment and realized I could install the AIO mount on the Motherboard and then screw the motherboard in. Once again, I was relieved from devestation. After installing everything in the new case, I booted it up. I noticed my hard drive would say 50% usage and it worried me a lot. I frantically searched it up but would be led to a dead end. I never really understood as to why it did that but I assumed it was just because of CPU change. A day later, I tried booting it up for my usual gaming mornings but it turned off in a span of 5 minutes. My worry escalated and I unplugged everything to avoid further damage. I ended up going to Micro Center for a Diagnostic and found out my CPU was nearly cooking itself so it would turn off to protect itself. I actually inserted the CPU pump wire into the wrong header which relieved me because I was afraid I’d have to spend more money on something. After thanking the technicians, I went on my way home to try booting it up and to my surprise, it was a successful startup. There was no powering off which relieved me even more. The only upgrade I have left is a 30 series as I intended to get in April but couldn’t. Though I’m totally okay with what I got (Asus ROG 2060 OC). I’m beyond grateful for my journey and anyone who helped me along with it. Ongoing possible issue: My CPU temp is usually at 55°C during startup but stays at 60-70°C during full load. Is this healthy? The people of Reddit say it’s normal temps from a Ryzen 7 3700x Thank you to everyone who sees this! You’re amazing, loved and appreciated! Have a great day <3 ☆ I try not to submit to the sterotype of pink gamer girls but how could I not?? It's so cute! Don't get me wrong, I sometimes alternate between more nature-y, earth-y colors or simple blues and yellows too lol

I built this PC because I found case at Micro Center that caught my attention, the Maingear Vybe mid tower case that is in red. The purpose of this rig is basically for general computing, desktop computing, gaming. The games I play are usually FPS games from Roblox. I do plan on getting other fps games and BeamNG Drive also. I also used this to upload my gameplay videos, (channel: ix.cryorig_games) I upgraded my stock cooler to a vetroo V5, and added 2 more sticks of crucial ballistix 16gb kit at 3200mhz. Also, this build of mine was inspired after the SRT Hellcat, so the red and black theme will be perfect. I also added in some sleeved extensions from inland, and it really matches my build. My case fans are Arctic bioniX and Arctic P12 PWM PST's. Bitwit's videos also inspired me to make a build this nice!

I went to Microcenter to make an AMD 3400G build since I wanted a budget build and no GPUs were in stock previously. Then the unthinkable happened... A wild 1650 appeard on the shelf staring at me. I had to grab and change up my budget build a little bit. All in all I was able to keep it all under $1000 (considering I already had a case and a Seagate 2TB 7200RPM HDD). The picture of the rig is just built and went through bios. Cable management was okay but I think i can pretty it up just a little bit but overall it works as intended.

I've liked building since I was around 12 and my wife also likes computers but she's always been an mac type of person. Since she likes to play sims games I had to build her something much stronger than what she's used to with those apple products. So I built her this as one of her wedding gifts. Finally she can use sims games at full settings with all the custom content her heart desires.

I've been looking around and waiting for the right time to make a build for about 2 years and it has come to this. I wanted to make a nice looking but not too vibrant PC, so I chose the Lian Li Lancool 205m. I saw this at Microcenter once and I really liked the way it looked. It was Micro ATX, which I wanted because a mid tower ATX case would just be too big for my desk. I added 3 120mm RGB fans from Deepcool which would add for better airflow and better lighting. For the CPU, I had to choose the Ryzen 5 3600 as it was the best choice I had for the budget. Got it for under $200 along with the ASRock B450m Pro4 at Microcenter for $60. Great performing CPU and a great binned CPU too IMO (the Ryzen 5 3600's rated all core clock boost is 4.2Ghz). I managed to overclock it to 4.3Ghz stable at 1.35 volts or 4.425Ghz at 1.375 - 1.4 volts. I only use the 1.35v OC as it is probably better for 24/7 use than 1.375. With the Enermax Liqfusion III 240mm AIO, it can cool it like it wasn't even being overclocked. Temperatures were amazing, which I had expected from a liquid cooler. One thing I wanted to do but couldn't was that I couldn't put the AIO on the top mount as it would not fit because the RAM was just barely in the way of the radiator, so I ended up using the 2 case fans that came with the case and put it on the other side of the radiator in the front of the case to get a push/pull configuration. I think the temperatures are probably better like that, but can't say for sure. The GPU I used was the NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super. I was really looking hard to find a 3070 for a good price, but couldn't, so I just found the 2080 Super for $500. Only downside to this was that it is only the factory Dell 2080 Super blower style card, so that means no lights and the worst of all, a loud fan when playing games. I'm pretty sure this fan gets to 70% fan speed evertime and it is pretty loud. I'm looking right now for a 2080 or a 2080 Super non blower style just because of that. Although, I did manage to get a decent stable overclock on it at +150 on the core and +500 on the memory. The RAM I chose was the PNY XLR8 2x8 16GB kit. I found it on Amazon and it seemed like a decent deal for $85. The brand is good and I didn't want to risk spending $10 less on a cheap brand (Oloy). Last but not least, I chose the Inland Platinum NVME M.2 SSD. I wasn't even planning on getting it (but good thing I got it) as I was looking at the Crucial P2. Since Microcenter had it in stock, I bought it. Not only was it cheaper, but it was way faster. For a non PCIE Gen4 NVME, this performs great. The read write speeds are 3,400MB/S Read/1900 MB/S Write. Overall, I think this build is great. I am only using a 1080p 144hz monitor setup, but in the future, I will most likely bump it up to a 1440p 144hz or a 1080p 240hz. I probably ended up spending a total of $1200 including tax and shipping, which is amazing nowadays. Microcenter really helped out with getting my parts quicker and at the best price.

It was time to upgrade and I wanted a computer powerfully enough to easily handle triple-a games, then I found a really unique case. I let this case lay the ground work and located some excellent new hardware, using Cyberpunk 2077's requirements as a guideline for some minimums. During the build I encountered a design flaw in the case, making the graphics card installation very difficult. Had I known about that, I would have found a way to clear the path before mounting the motherboard. I also could have saved on the cable extensions that I bought with the case as they were completely unneeded. I really love unique case designs, I feel like they can make your set up stand out compared to all the standard RGB boxes.

I wanted to try PC gaming since all I would hear from people was that it was a way better experience. Thus after watching multiple youtubers such as Jayztwocents and TechSource I was inspired to build my first ever PC. It has evolved now since I'm hooked with building so now I find any excuse to get my hands on my pc. Here are some pictures of the updated state of my entire set up since I have tried hard to not just have a good looking pc but also a good looking setup. I used by two favorite colors for lighting purple and red. I love star wars and one of my favorites was the red sith troopers from the last installment. The rest of the game room has some starwars stuff such as the white boba fett helmet, the lightsaber, and the R2D2 popcorn maker! Thus the theme for the pc/setup build. I'm currently rocking a ryzen 7 3800x and Powercolor Red dragon 5600xt. My hopes are to upgrade the gpu and keyboard next. If you have any keyboard recommendations let me know!

I played on a gaming laptop for awhile but it was time to build something for myself and call it my own. I built it to be able to play with my friends who also built their own PCs. Also there was quite the incentive when I realized the greater performance you get on a PC when compared to a console, especially when playing cross-platform games. I play Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, and Destiny 2 mainly. It definitely was a fun time putting it all together with the help of my roommates. I can definitely tell the difference from my Xbox One and my gaming laptop (which had a 1660ti in it). It runs very smooth and boots up super quick with the M.2 drive. At first I was a tad hesitant to get an AMD card because Nvidia is the top dog but so far, I've had no regrets as it has proven itself worthy for giving my the frames I want in games.

This was my first time build and might have overspent on a pc but it was an enjoyable experience it took 4 days to build as the last thing to arrive was my power supply. I plan to use it for School and architecture programs such as CAD and REVIT along with some gaming here and there with the possibility to run upcoming next-gen games. I love the case because of how simple it is with the all-white and geometric design it came with 4 RGB fans and even cable fasteners and plenty of space for the cables. Although I did struggle trying to get the fans to work as I had to use the 3 prong RGB header at the bottom of the motherboard instead of the top. I know the CPU might be a little overkill and doesn't necessarily match the GPU but you win some you lose some, also I know I should've gotten a 3600-speed memory but by the time I realized it was too late. The keyboard and mouse I bought as a bundle and the headphones I've had for years and just recently started using them again. I currently using a Samsung 36 inch 1080p tv I had on my dresser as a monitor but plan to buy one black Friday. Feel free to leave any comments or questions on the build.

This is my first PC build, and I wanted to exceed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 recommended specs while working around my current 1080p 60 Hz monitor. I wanted something relatively compact that would work well for now, but would be easily upgradeable when I get a better monitor. Likely PC upgrades will be an RTX GPU and DDR4 3600 RAM, perhaps aftermarket CPU cooling. In hindsight I would probably opt for the faster RAM right out of the gate, but it's been a solid performer so far.

I needed to get PC built for my daughter who has become a great gamer. She started with her PS4 playing fortnite and other games that was able to play using that platform. When she noticed the the real great players uses a PC specifically built to handle extreme gamers, we decided it's time for her to get one She started practicing using the mouse and keyboard to play fortnite connected to her PS4. Once she got comfortable, I asked her "Nyobia" to research gaming PC 's so we can get an idea of how much it will cost. I also asked people I knew were gamers for their input. We were now ready to build our own PC. Went to microcenter and was fortunate to speak with two of their workers Shaun and Maurice. After a brief conversation with Shaun he suggested I have a professional build one for many reasons. I agreed after thinking and weighing the pros and cons. Shaun directed me to Maurice and I told him what we needed. I have him the specs given to me and he compared them to what microcenter had in comparison. I gave him my budget and away he went. He explained everything to me in detail. He offered his suggestions and once we gathered up what's needed he save me a couple hundred bucks. Maurice also made it so Nyobia can start streaming when she is ready. The outcome ifs fantastic. Nyobia is ecstatic loving every minute of her new gaming PC. The colors superb, speed remarkable and it also looks great. This will last a while ABC's during the time of upgrades are neccessary I will go to microcenter to her it done.
