He only plays war thunder, APEX, and other non-graphical intense games, so 3060ti is good enough. He was very happy to have his very first own gaming PC. It was a sad day when I recently realized that the am4 socket, one into which I've heavily invested, is now officially obsolete and will see no more released cpu's that are compatible with the socket. Instead of abandoning my am4 setup that has served me well for many years, I decided to buy the processor that represented the single best upgrade available on the am4 socket, which is the 5900x3d. It pairs with my rtx 3080 nicely so far. One thing i might have done differently is a minor compatibility ive found between my motherboard and this particular rtx 3080. Specifically, the size of the graphics card obscures access to some of the sata ports on the motherboard. It's not a huge deal though and I've managed to work around it.$1,714.91 -

Bought and built this to primarily play games and to finally have a machine that can handle all current gen title games at 1080p. Games like Apex Legends and Halo Infinite all hold a framerate well above 144hz at the highest graphic settings with no problems as well as keeping cool. This computer also allowed me to be able to record my gameplay in high quality using OBS thanks to NVIDIA'S nvenc encoder in part to the 3060 RTX. Video editing programs such as adobe premiere also run well to edit footage together to create youtube compilations of the many games I play. Eventually upgraded the storage on the computer with SSD drives which was easy due to the microATX motherboard being in a ATX size case for ease of building as well as the case having drivebays on the back panel of the computer.$1,137.92 -

My last build was lga 1155 i7-2700K. Back then I was still single and have money to spend lol. Now after moving here to the US I decided to build a entry to mid 1080p all around PC for my family ang get my son into PC building and gaming. What I love of todays build is you don't need a disk drive anymore! I still remember buying a 60Gb 2.5 SSD for my booth drive and 1 Tb HDD for my file storage. NVME SSD's are God sent it makes the build look more clean! Looking forward to building my personal gaming PC once I get settled here and save up.$1,714.93 -

Originally was a prebuilt that was bought in 2016(RX 460, FX4300, 8 GB RAM, and 1 TB HDD). CPU wasn't enough to handle multitasking, and HDD made the system not very responsive at times, so I upgraded everything in 2020.
