It was built for work, but also for iRacing. Its my first build, but i loved the creative process, and the attention to detail that I have put into it. Hardline tube bending was most likely the trickiest part!

My case mod takes us to the world of ST:TNG and the Enterprise's most fearsome enemy introduced in the second season of the series. The case I modded is the Cooler Master Elite 110. The inside components comprise a basic gaming rig, with a nod to the era that ST:TNG was new on the air by using the 20th anniversary Intel Pentium processor. My case mod even includes a "frickin' laser beam" in eerie Borg green of course.

Wanted to make a case out of wood settled on mAtx form factor and a close to cubic design in order to pull it out of one sheet of 2’x4’ ply all while grain matching🤓. The design is more akin to a test bench setup in how the board is oriented. There is drawer to house one HDD and two SSDs though I only have one currently. The cables nicely dive down into the underside of the cabinet. The entire system is air cooled with 6 case fans 2 in on left 2 out on right and in on top and front to have positive pressure… the top hole is almost perfectly aligned with cpu… (missed measurement… womp womp. As can be seen it comes with led power and reset buttons the reset led is wired to hdd activity for a neat effect. And finally a full usb2.0/3.0/sdcard reader/audio in out 5.25” bay adapter that I’ve secured in place. While I was very excited to have constructed it to be double hinged I kind of regret it in how it makes the setup awkward… once done however it’s nice and I doubt I’ll have to get in there again. I have some thoughts as to where I’d like to go with the next itiration… let me know what you think!

I've sold my last PC to invest on my old house, and after a while, I finally bought my new rig, that I use daily for gaming (and sometimes for home work). I love the way it looks like, with all the stuff and red LEDs. It took almost 2 years to get the look of how it is right now. I love playing single-player games, and by now I'm playing Grim Dawn, Forza Horizon 4, Control, Horizon Zero Dawn. PC guts inside of a MacPro case… This was built to host my security cameras and home media. It has since turned into a 2nd PC for streaming and running other media in the background while I game. Trying not to alter the case too much, I searched around to find components that would work. In the end I ended up trimming the back panel to work with the mobo ports, cutting a hole to pass the power cables through the top shelf to the rest of the PC, installed my own stand-offs and mounting plate. And let’s just not talk about the CPU radiator being held in by zip-ties.

My computer runs 24/7 doing it all. Most obvious hindsight fix would've been to not attempt to make a DIY purple dye, that backfired horribly and resulted in the name of the system because it stained the reservoir brown. It looks like the system has coffee pumping through the watercooling loop! Despite initial teething troubles with XMP the system is now rock stable and been problem free for most of the last decade. Planning to upgrade it to Zen 4, a proper NVMe SSD, and just maybe a 3080 Ti... Oh, and most importantly a new case that has room to allow for proper cable management!

Named Beast after it's Apevia BEAST Power Supply. Now, it needs taken out back behind the barn and shot. With the old AM3 chipset non-UEFI motherboard, I've upgraded everything I can to get the most out of it. Now it's just aging poorly and vomiting cords. Time for a new rig. HELP!

It did its job, but it was starting to fail, and honestly, it was so slow and the tiny cooling fan was really high pitched and loud. After my love of building reignited with my own system, I decided to finally do something about my parents' system. Also, they help watch my kids when my wife and I are busy, and it's important to have a system that is snappy and responsive in Windows or YouTube or Netflix Kids, etc. Building in the In Win Chopin is definitely a treat. It's beautiful and my parents love that it doesn't take up too much space on their desk. In order to get the side panel closed, I had to remove the fan shroud from the Wraith Stealth cooler (easily done by removing a single screw from underside of the heat sink and undoing four clips, though this isn't possible if the cooler is already mounted). This was my first time building in such a small enclosure, and hopefully it won't be my last! I still need to build a system for my eldest son when he gets old enough. Probably will stick to mini ITX so that I can teach him to take his system out and clean it when necessary.

After enjoying my Prometheus v3 build for a few months and seeing that the Ryzen 5 1600 was still on sale, I replaced the guts of an old Pentium 4 class machine with another build in December 2019. I use this machine to run virtual servers for my development purpose, and I stuck a graphics card in it this spring to also do Folding@Home. I know the 20 year old case desperately needs replaced, and the hard drives I use to store the virtual machines on are aging, but I like to get value out of the parts I buy so it was good enough at the time for a home server.

Glass tubing ek water blocks, bitspower fitting, custom sliver power cables, and inwin 909 case. This is my gaming rig, looking to up grade my video card. So the name does not have anything to do with this build. I'm trying to make a build that will be powerful enough to allow me to run my podcast and game. Now I'm not looking to play games like sekiro or anything to demanding. I'm thinking more of divinity original sin 2 or most of the total war games. My budget is 300 that's why I have the 4 gb of ram, but will go 350 if need be. This is pretty much a start up and look to upgrade over time.

This computer serves 2 purposes: to stream Steam games to my Steam Link (light gaming) and an Everquest emulator server. Unlike existing Everquest emulator servers like Project1999, this server has Vallon Zek PVP rules (8 level pvp range, coin loot and 4 race teams of Human, Elf, Evil and Elf). I was able to make Sullon Zek's level range work as well, but never cared for that server.

I'm running a i5-6500, Biostar B250 Mining Motherboard, a CM i71C Cooler, 16GB's of DDR4-3000Mhz Ram, 120GB Boot SSD, 1TB Hard Drive, GTX 1060 3gb variant, EVGA 500w 80+ White PSU and a Silverstone HTPC case. I play a lot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare lol. Grind that game almost everyday with my friends. I try to stream when I can, but keep it to a minimum as my system isn't that capable to do both gaming and streaming. In the future, I will probably upgrade the entire system due to the aging components inside. I will probably only keep the ram and storage, but everything else is quite old. My system does have some lighting from one of the case fans and the cpu cooler, but not the best. But hey, I didn't expect much from a dirt cheap cpu cooler and case fan. Also, the inside of the case looks absolutely disgusting, I know lmao. A system with a non modular PSU inside a HTPC case is a nightmare, but this is how it's been for the past 5 years, so I guess I'm fine with it.

This is my mess of a workbench and gaming area with sub-par storage techniques, I need more shelves and boxes. I play games, do research, and tinker with tech. The PC I'm currently using is a minor upgrade from a previous build which featured a 2nd gen I5 with essentially all the same other specs. I built it because I needed something with even a marginal amount of performance improvement. I call it a placeholder because I have stared a build around the Ryzen 5800x and an MSI Tomahawk X570 WIFI motherboard and I'm waiting on an RTX 3080 like soo many others. I intend to upgrade the ram to 16GB if the motherboard will accept a 4x4GB RAM configuration.

I wanted to build a pc for streaming in the future, and also something portable for low end gaming. Some fighting games like Skullgirls, KoF, Also Fps games like apex, halo, gears, etc... I would've like to make the outside case a bit neater, but it was my first time doing something like this, and didn't have the proper tools for some jobs. I would like to put a discrete graphics card in it, so it could really game. Maybe be a mobile vr pc. A modular psu as well to help cable management. I use my pc for gaming and streaming however ive been noticing that the stream isnt the best quality. What i plan on upgrading is getting a dedicated graphics card, a better cpu with more cores and threads, after those main upgrades i am looking to buy a 144hz monitor for as well as a 1tb hard drive. Lastly is to get a bettter motherboard because at the moment my motheroard sometimes stays on the bio page and doesnt change. I dont know for sure why that happens but i believe its just the motherboard itself. Lastly what I do on my stream is play games such as minecraft or any game that my pc can run while streaming. So dar its been a journey with my 22 followers in only just 3 days!!!!
