I built this as a new personal PC build since I sold my old personal build recently. I use it to play games like Minecraft, Genshin, League, Valorant, etc., and use it for CAD projects. If I were to do things differently I would've gotten the white version of the graphics card but nonetheless the PC has satisfied my expectations. I also only paid around $500 for the system which satisfies my budget expectations.$514.99 -

I'm still rocking my pretty MSI GTX 1060 on account of it never breaking a sweat being bottlenecked by my CPU so I'm excited to finally see what it can do on the modern more CPU intensive games! I'd totally recommend the items I purchased.$537.32 -

Then was able to get other parts for a pretty good price. The only thing I needed to buy used was the 3060 Ti Founders edition, which I found for only 150 on my local marketplace, thought it was a pretty good deal and will be playing mainly in 1080p anyways.$569.99 -

My daughter wanted a better computer and since she helps me upgrade mine from time to time she wanted to build her own. We told her if she could keep it around 500.00 budget we'd help her, so we scoured forums and youtube videos for less expensive builds. We found Toasty Bros there, and they in turn directed us to microcenter where we found a very nice cpu/motherboard/ram combo. with the combo and new case we came in around $570. She got her wish and I got a great father-daughter moment to cherish the rest of my life. :D$574.95 -

This pc has served me well over the years and has received numerous upgrades since its inception. I play a lot of CS2 so I have upgraded the ram to 32 gb to improve my 1% lows. It’s pretty remarkable that this old 1070TI can still handle pretty much anything I throw at it, which is why I continue to support NVIDIA even in troubling times.$590.95 -

This build was 100% motivated by a random impulse purchase at my local Microcenter. I noticed that the newest gen from Intel (13th gen) now had an i3 quad core (4 cores, 8 threads) available and the price at Microcenter was only $99. I decided to grab it and see how much it would bottleneck an older RX 5600 XT that I had going unused. Turns out, the answer is "not at all!"$593.93 -

When I saw that the new Intel i3 13100 was available at mircocenter, I couldn't help but to upgrade. Right now I'm using this machine for everything BUT gaming. The reason for this is that I plan to acquire a 3060 Ti graphics card in the coming weeks to fully round out the new build. But for now, I'm up and running without it. One thing that turned out not so great was the color scheme I was going for. I noticed that all-white components tend to cost more for some reason, so I talked myself into buying some parts that looked mostly gray online. This was a mistake, because inside a white case, all the gray parts all pretty much look completely black.$680.94 -

He had never built a PC before, and his $400 laptop bought for schoolwork would not cut it. He gave me a budget of $700 and already had a monitor and accessories. Now, I could have just bought the parts himself but I instead decided to indoctrinate him into the world of PC building! I took him to the micro center, helped him find the parts, and taught him what everything did. When it came to building the PC he did everything himself with my guidance, and in the end he had a great PC he was satisfied with. Now we play Helldivers and Deep rock together along with other friends. This PC would not be possible without Microcenter's CPU bundles. I have not found parts with similar specs for a better price.$694.94 -

The i5 beats the previous-gen Core i9 part in gaming for cheap, so great value there. This gaming PC was made after a few of the family's windows laptops were damaged. We have a mac at home, but wanted a dedicated Windows PC at home. I used one of the Micro Center Intel bundles as the basis for the gaming build (The $250 one with the Core i5), then picked out parts to build on top of it. A good thing for my current budget was that I had various storage devices at hand for this build. I did decide to get the case elsewhere as I found an open box deal for a case that normally costs $100. I am happy with how things have turned out for this build. For upgrades, I plan on buying more sticks of ram to double the memory capacity and I am in the middle of getting be quiet case fans for the desktop as the case only had two pre-installed and were quite loud and rumbled a lot. I know the motherboard supports the current 14th gen cpu's, so I may do that whenever those go down in price. And if necessary, I might change the CPU cooler if the current $20 one craps out in the future.$772.92 -

I had an (probably 10 years) old computer that I built and have been using it daily ever since. At two separate points throughout it's lifecycle, I made two massive upgrades - 1) going from an HDD boot drive to an SSD, and 2) upgrading the video card from one that was mid-range at the time of installation to a modern mid-range card. The video card upgrade was probably 3-4 years ago. Now that I am permanently remote in my day job, I get to spend an enormous amount of time on sitting at my computer. With new lines of CPUs having just been released, I figured now was as good of time as any to do a full, much-needed rebuild of my daily PC. I work on my computer for the full day, every day, and work on side projects (web development, writing, etc.) in the evenings. I do some gaming, but haven't really had a capable machine to really enjoy it in many years. With that, I am many years behind on PC games, so I don't need to play the latest and greatest. With that, and a budget, in mind, I built the whole system from the ground up, but decided to reuse the existing video card. GPU prices are ever-so-slightly beginning to come down, so I thought I'd wait a bit to buy one while catching up on the past 6-8 years of games I haven't been able to play.$869.93 -

This PC was put together around the Intel i5 12600kf and Intel Arc A770 Bundle from Microcenter. The total cost for this PC was super impressive given the performance it was putting out. I am able to play demanding games like Flight simulator with stable performance using DX12. I posted some synthetic benchmark scores in the images for reference if anyone is considering getting the A770. If most of the games you play are newer DX12 titles then the A770 is legit. The Powerspec PSU and Teamgroup RAM were also great deals that really completed this build. It will be used for gaming as well as a general purpose workstation PC with its 10 core i5.$890.94 -

I built this PC for general purpose usage (web browsing, image editing, software development, maybe some light gaming, etc). I'm pretty happy with it overall. My only complaint might be that I can hear the fans quietly whirring when the room is quiet, but I suppose that's to be expected with a mesh case, and it's not really an issue. I will probably add a couple of HDDs from my old computer for additional storage, but the 1TB SSD is plenty of space and super fast. If I decide to get into PC gaming in the future, I will upgrade the graphics card when prices come down; but the T600 seems more than adequate for general usage.$939.93 -

I was once an avid gamer and as games got better my PC just couldn't handle them. I have been using a low-tier laptop since 2016 and even that struggled with older games, let alone newer ones. As a personal trainer I would love to be able to make make videos and host live streaming content for my clients or those interested in making a change to their fitness/health habits, but my setup just doesn't have the ability to do so. With this new rig I hope to be able to be able to reach a new group of clients and help them to appreciate fitness and how it can change their lives for the better. This (as well as the included picture) is of the current old PC. I am hoping with the holiday deals and this coupon that the new PC (Parts list) will be on the way shortly. Money is always tight so I will be reusing some components from the old PC. Namely the case, GPU, and SSD.....for now.
