It was under $2000 without tax, but came up to around $2500 with tax and the great Micro Center warranty to cover all the parts. This was a huge learning experience. It was my first AIO and vertical GPU mount. It was fun to build with new components. Was someone limited by what was in stock, but was able to get all parts in one day with the guidance of the Micro Center Westmont staff. Combo deals were great.$2,049.92 -

When planning this, I initially intended it to be a bit less flashy with a stealth look, but as this was my first build and one I will have for quite some time I decided to go all out and go "Over Budget". The build focuses on raw performance and raster which is why I decided to go with the XFX 7900 XTX and the 9800x3D. The Hyte Y70 Touch was the over-the-top case it needed to give it that much more flair. The same goes for the 9 Lian Li SL Infinity Fans! I have been really pushing it to its limits recently by playing Old School RuneScape and having a YouTube video open on the side monitor!$3,009.86 -

I've built full arcade systems and installed Raspberry Pi's before, so I figured I would take a chance at building my own pc. I like to game on my pc well as do work, and stream. I started doing plenty of research and asking questions at Micro Center. There was a bald guy (Caucasian) with an ear piecing. I believe his name was Tim Hill. He was so polite and professional!!!! I came to the store on three different occasions and I would run into him and he would help me. He's truly an honorable guy! I wanted a DragonBall theme and started downloading lots of pics and videos and edited them for this build. I also ordered several figurines and picked which ones I liked best to install in the pc. I had to disassemble the figurines from their bases and use a grinder to smooth down everything. It truly turned out to be a work of art!!!!!!!$2,894.19 -

Also with the stunning Steel Legend 9070 with the RGB fans, which will deliver great cooling and performance. Also great aesthetics with the Hyte Y40 Snow White edition, which looks super clean and slick compared to the normal white version. Solid 1 Tb storage and 32 GB of memory, B650 Pro RS motherboard also which basically does everything I need it to do. The Thermaltake PSU will do fine, and I see nothing wrong with it so far. Overall, great, aesthetic build that still performs.$1,545.93 -

Other than that, everything else went smoothly. I also plan on adding more Lian-Li fans to the back of the case to make it more complete, and getting Lian-Li Strimer cables for additional RGB flair.$2,079.92 -

I’m happy with the way it came out except for some of the wiring due to the TUF PSU having very malleable cabling. Not a bad thing I’m just inexperienced. Also, I wanted an AIO with an LCD screen but the NZXT and Ryujin still sit at a high price. I despise the large pump on the rug aio, but love the pump head despite not having a screen. Next purchase will be a monitor to take advantage of the 4090 but for now I’m super happy with what I have$3,054.92 -

Finally decided to part ways with my old and ugly pc and upgrade after 8 long years. Had to wait forever for my 3080 Ti to arrive but it was worth the wait. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, maybe I could have done a better job with the cables but.... The only major issue is that one of my 144hz monitors doesn't have any of the ports with which I could get 144hz due to the 3080 Ti only having HDMI and DP, so I'm stuck with 60hz on that for now until I find a new one (I think)... Buuut I was surprised I didn't run into any other issues besides losing one or two screws... :p$1,866.93 -

They should reduce the price and sell riser cable separately. Vertical GPU looks nice but it is too close to the panel. I'll install it horizontal later. PSU is a bit overpowered. I have Corsair SP120 fans on my last build. I didn't know how loud they were until I got these Lian Li fans.$3,234.92 -

It was a i7-th gen MSI dual fan 1060ti, which was later upgraded to 2070 super. It was a prebuilt custom pc from cyberpower and over The years i've had so many issues with the p c sometimes. The case was terrible it caused a lot of overheating and my p c would crash often when I ran even medium load work like turning on rocket league. I figured it was time to build a new p c and this time I wanted to make sure I future proof it without worrying about cost. Because the last p c I bought I built a little conservative because I was still in college and so I didn't want to spend too much money. It was actually a long Time dream of mine to build a new PC. But this time get a case that actually looks cool and I've looked at a lot of open concept cases as well as a panoramic glass cases. I want exposure to the internal components. And also wanted some internal rgb in my build, not too much rgb. I play a lot of AAA games, also FPS shooters, etc. Some of the games i play are valorant, rocket league, cod, halo, overwatch 2, battlefield, csgo, etc. Also a lot of single player games like tomb raider, horizon, last of us, etc. Every game I played told now I have played using logo settings just so my p c would not crash. I wanted a build where i would have to worry about that and be able to play on hight/max settings so i can appreciate the details and art of the games. I've thought about getting into streaming and no right now. I'm thinking about getting into dollarant streaming and/ content creation. I am a huge fan of Keeoh and his videos. Even if I don't get a lot of viewers? I still wouldn't like to be able to stream just doing for the fun. I got all of the streamer components no, just built a very high end p c capable of high quality gameplay End multitask for streaming, Also got some nice streaming cameras a hyperex quadcast s mic. Not sure when I'm actually going to start streaming but hopefully. It's sometimes in your future once I settle in to my new apartment. Pretty simple selection logic but in my opinion it's a good template to go by for people wanting a similar build. As a side note, getting a cheaper 7900 XTX would be a good way to save money but in this case I decided spending more for a card with better cooling would be beneficial for people that do close to no maintenance on their PCs, as it should help with longevity in general.$2,810.94 -
