I built this pc because I was doing 3d modeling on an ancient laptop that I outgrew. Outgrowing it felt like a rite of passage as I upgraded. I always wanted to build my own PC and now I had a legitimate reason to. Ive ended up doing quite a bit of graphics work, 3d modeling, video editing, photo editing and much more. This pc has paid for itself in work alone, and has also taught me the necessary skills to apply for the job I am currently at. I work for a local high end corvette company and its because of this computer. Its a smaller company and I probably dont make as much as I should, but since im all self taught I figured it was a good starter wage to dip my toes and test my mettle. Its all possible because of this computer, and no matter how many times I upgrade, ill never get rid of the case because thats where it all started. That's what got me where I am today and ill never be more grateful. As far as the build itself, I dont have any regrets. I did alot of research on components and what I could afford at the time. It was never a high end computer and still isn't. It started with a ryzen 5 3600x in it paired with a 1660 super Phoenix edition Its been upgraded to a ryzen 9 5950x and a 3060 12gb Phoenix edition (Hence the name). Sitting on a tuf x570 plus wifi and 32 gb of ram, its never exactly struggled. Though since it was my first build and a business opportunity I wanted to go flashy with it. It has alot of rgb, but my rule was it had to be addressable rgb and I absolutely love that I made that rule. I hate buying items and its not addressable. I have a theme! I dont know what it is but I have one. Ive slowly upgraded the monitors to what you see in the pictures. A 32inch 2k screen and a 27 inch 1080 vertical. It helps with my workload tremendously or watching tutorials while I learn. Over all this is my pc and If you've read this far thank you. Its been a journey with this pc but its led me down a professional career that would have been impossible without it.

I use it for gaming in 1440p, mostly Halo Infinite and PUBG, emulation, and I plan on buying the FF7 Remake and RE4 remake to play in 1440p as well. I also do some sim racing in Asseto Corsa. I have also tossed around the idea of streaming, but that hasn't panned out yet.

  i wanted to learn how to do something that i hadnt done before. ive been on something of a pc building spree for other... i wanted to learn how to do something that i hadnt done before. ive been on something of a pc building spree for other family members lately. but this most recent project was basically casting a minimize spell on my existing gaming build and converting it into one based on the small itx form factor. ive held off until now because i heard from a few different sources that building an itx based system comes with a higher degree of difficulty. but it was time for me to learn. this small desktop continues to serve as a gaming pc running games like monster hunter wilds on a 144hz 1440p qhd 2k monitor.
