I put it together back in 2015 when I graduated high school as a gift. It all started when I picked up my first CPU from Microcenter. Old Steven is my daily driver and is still going strong to this day. I've spent hours a day on it, using it for schoolwork, browsing the web, watching videos, and playing games like LoL and Overwatch. I only upgraded it once with an SSD. Old Steven is simply trusty and reliable, but I'm looking to do a serious upgrade by the end of the year. I'll be keeping the case but will swap out most of the components to turn Old Steven into the beast it was meant to be. I'm definitely coming back to Microcenter to get this project started!$824.65 -

I first built it after scraping my two older builds as I realized I wanted something smaller and more portable, but still able to showcase my parts and look cool. I personally find the building and troubleshooting of pc's more fun than the actual games I play. However, if I am playing any games it is usually Madden 22, Fortnite, Old School Runescape, and countless older games I play through ROMs and emulators.$1,099.97 -

My second ever build, holding nothing back, I got everything I wanted out of this system. I played so many games, with so much immersion, streamed so many hours with old and new friends. Over time, the secondary monitor changed, as those were monitors I usually got from Goodwill and eventually broke down. I added storage. Upgraded wireless headphones. Added an external capture card, which later changed to an internal card when my wife showed interest in streaming too. I added a proper microphone, which still leaves room to improve in quality. All the while carrying peripherals and random extra things from the past build and even the laptop I used before building a PC. Those speakers have been with me the longest. I hope to carry many things forward to my next build, which is in the planning stages.$769.97 -

PC gaming at 1440P or 4K,( still waiting to upgrade my monitor) mostly Halo infinite, Forza Horizon 5. the cable management in the back is very messy. The pcie power cables, 24 pin, and cpu power cable are extensions because I wanted white so the full length of the cables that came with the PSU are stuffed back there.$2,364.90 -

Its first purpose was for video games because that was all I had my mind set to. When I finished building the PC, I decided to try out making videos for fun because a couple years ago, I always dreamt of having an amazing computer to run any game I wanted at a playable amount of frames and start youtube with it. At that time I was running on an old computer my Dad brought home from work running games at 5-10fps. It was not the best PC but I was happy I could start my videogame journey with it. I bought all the parts when most of the components were fairly expensive or out of stock. this was also the time when GPUS were not as expensive as until now. I plan on upgrading my powersupply first, my cooling system (fans, CPU fan) to a liquid cooler. After that, I plan on upgrading my motherboard (b450 to a b550 or X570 maybe) because it is a little outdated. For my very first PC build I think I did alright with building it. The hardest part in my opinion was the cable management. There are some visible cables that could be routed differently to look better and cleaner !! That's all from me I hope u like my build :D$1,301.90 -

This is my computer, and its primary purpose is for gaming and schoolwork/everyday use. In terms of games, the Gtx 960 I have is fine for now(although I do want to upgrade to a current en card), and it can decently play 4x and Sim games at 1080p like City Skylines, Civ 6, and Anno 1800. Those are mainly the games I play, although I dabble in a few esports titles like Valorant and Fortnite. I also use this for some light video-editing for assignments/personal projects and CAD through Fusion 360. In the future, I hope to add a mid-tier GPU like a 3060-3060 TI or maybe a 3070 once prices become reasonable, along with 16 more gigs of RAM.$894.94 -
