Build Description
I built this computer in March 2019 to upgrade my old AMD FX-8320E computer. I use it for some light gaming and some hobby development work in .Net and SQL Server. This spring I upgraded the power supply and graphics card for Folding@Home use. In the future I'm considering replacing the 17 year old Antec Super LanBoy case, and eventually getting a new motherboard and processor. I name this computer Prometheus because I tend to rip out its guts and rebuild it every couple of years.
Favorite Feature
I don't do first person shooters or anything extreme so I usually build for value. When I did this build there was an outstanding sale on the Ryzen 5 1600 processors, and a number of parts that I buy were open box values.
